We weren't looking for a plethora of activities but enjoyed all the historical homes we saw which was why we came. The rooms seemed pet friendly, though we didn't bring a pet.The rooms were clean but a few supplies were missing but host brought some things over half way through.Hit a bit of a curve ball when we needed to leave to make an appointment but didn't have any instructions on how to lock up with the key pad provided. We've used some different ones and they all work differently. We contacted the host and she said someone could be there in half an hour. So we had to leave so the house was unprotected for awhile. We were glad to find the place quiet and clean. One disappointment was despite the comfortable temperature of the room, we ended up sweating every night with whatever part of us was touching the bed. Looked into it and found that there's a waterproof cover on the mattress that causes this. If wanting to protect the mattress, a topper would work much better for comfort.
