Does the job.

Average stay. Think four star is pushing it - more in the realms of a nice three star. Balcony view incredible, room clean enough but the interior is dated and requires a revamp. Reception staff nagging each other when checking in - pretty unprofessional and stared us off on a weird vibe. Lobby is lovely. Room had a weird smell to it kind of care home like (?) don’t know how to describe it. For what we paid and one night in Mellieha - it was more than adequate. Unsure if I’d be so happy if it was for a week.

Perfect for a quiet holiday

The hotel is great , staff are lovely and helpful. It’s perfect if you want a very quiet holiday without leaving the hotel much as It’s a comfortable and clean hotel with lovely rooftop pool to relax. The only negative is that it’s quite isolated which I hadn’t realised so we spent a lot on travel taxis etc.

Not a relaxing or enjoyable trip. Hotel very noisy due to size, 4 out of 6 nights I was woken by either the fire alarm going off or power cuts (when power restored tv would come on and wake you up). Staff weren’t friendly, particularly at breakfast. No allocated parking, you have to find your own up the road.

A really gorgeous hotel with many facilities. Loved our room. Loved breakfast. Loved the connecting tunnel to other side of hotel.The rooftop pool & bar was fabulous, with great views of Mellieha. Hotel in Great location! Many places to eat along the main road and not too pricey.

We love the Maritim and we have stayed there over 15 times. The hotel has a number of different rooms and we are always quite specific about the rooms we like, our rom on this visit was a nice room however not the usual type of room we like, the bed was very hard and I didn't sleep well throughout the night. The Air con was switched to warm which was quite uncomfortable, the hotel did change this after being asked a couple of times. The staff are wonderfull at the hotel, the food at Al Ponte is excellent and worthy competition for the other restaurants in the village. we look forward to returning to the Maritim next year.

The hotel is amazing. Very nice interior. Conveniently located, close to the beach. Bus stop is right outside the hotel for easy travel to other parts of the island!

Nice, calm location with a bus stop right across the street that can take you anywhere else for €2! Great pool bar on roof, spa and restaurants! Good relaxing getaway
