Showing its age.

The room was VERY small but clean. Contrary to the info on your website, there was NO included breakfast, but there was a good diner (Via Main) within walking distance that served generous portions for a reasonable price. They will NOT do late check-outs. It was okay for a solo traveler staying for a single night.

Not great place

Have stayed at hotel a few times years ago under different owner and things have definitely gone downhill since then. Advertises free continental breakfast online, although not an option anymore (no restaurant, no vending machines, no food at all). No ice machine available for the entire hotel. Rooms were outdated and smelled of cigarettes even in the non smoking rooms. The room was clean enough and the bathroom was very clean. Not the worst place, but definitely overpriced for what you get. The service/front desk was top notch, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great service made the rest of the disappointments easy to overlook for a one night stay.

Not the best, not the worst

The hotel was affordable and the beds/linens seemed clean. There were a few negatives that lead to my review. This is an older hotel and it shows. There were dead insects in the bottom of the closet and the lamp base was broken, so when I tried to move it, the bottom had crumbled. The bathroom tub/shower were clean but showed wear- cracks, etc. The breakfast area is being remodeled so breakfast wasn't offered for our stay. The room was available for a last minute stay and the staff was helpful, but we won't be going back.

Good clean and Friendly

The hotel is a typical hotel room. Very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only thing I feel they should do is update the website to acknowedge they no longer have breakfast available.

Very aged and in need of major updating. Front entry unsafe due to broken tiles, and potholes. Room interior needs painting, ceilings plastered, doors tightened, sink hot & cold were reversed, toilet wouldn't flush properly. Rear stairway dark poorly lit. Website states breakfast included but that was something stopped some time ago. If there had been another option available we would have left.

Clean and charming

Very clean hotel with a spacious and well-appointed lobby and a side lounge that my family enjoyed as a place to get together and chat. Rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the mattresses. Front desk staff was very welcoming and made a great recommendation for local breakfast place.

We stayed at this property two years ago and it was great for a budget hotel. Now, it has seriously went downhill. CONS: First, they didn’t have 2 out of 4 of our reservations. Apparently, when you book 3rd party, they are not forwarded to them. Furnishings have seen better days. The TV did not work in 2 of the rooms. The shower had a slow drain in my room so much until the water pooled up ankle deep. They no longer serve breakfast, only coffee. Walls are paper thin-you will hear every conversation in the hallway and in adjoining rooms. Rooms smelled like smoke in non-smoking rooms. Front desk handed out air freshener to spray to minimize the odor. PROS: Front desk staff are absolutely amazing. Reagan and her supervisor really does try to correct all of the shortcomings. This hotel has the potential to be so much more with the right management and updated furniture and paint.

The outside was neat. Front desk area presentable, and the staff friendly. Indoors: the hallways, elevator and rooms (even non smoking) smelled like smoke. The air conditioner wasn’t working. There was no breakfast as it read when I booked my room.

I try to choose hotels that have excellent ratings and offer breakfast. This hotel did not meet my expectations. Upon check-in I was informed that the kitchen was under renovation and that there would be no breakfast served. I was also informed that the heat was not working. My room was very cold so I went to the front desk and was given a space heater that didn't work. I went back to the desk and they gave me another space heater that did work. Very disappointed.
