Comfortable, roomy and convenient. Nearby casino wasn't noisy and no problem. Friendly accommodating staff. The first room we were given smelled of pet odor. When I told this to the lady at the front desk, she immediately gave us a different room which had not odor at all. Included breakfast was very good. Appreciated the elevator and luggage carts. Recommend staying here.

Dated property but clean and comfortable. Friendly and accommodating staff. The room we were assigned to has an animal odor. When we told the woman at the front desk, she found us a different room that had no offer. Breakfast was very good and location is convenient to Munising

White Pine

The hotel seemed old but fairly well kept up. There were a few minor problems such as a leaky toilet and spotty WiFi. The people were friendly and helpful. Breeds were a bit soft but tolerable. Breakfast was nothing special. 2 waffle makers but no meat, only prepackaged hard boiled eggs. I would come back as they were priced reasonably.

The location of the White Pines Inn was perfect for our stay to visit picture rocks national park and surrounding areas. It was two minutes from a beautiful beach, walking distance to hiking trails and a short drive to downtown Munising. The hotel was very clean and well appointed. However, it definitely needs updating. They have an adequate breakfast-not really anything you can eat if you are gluten-free other than yogurt, but I at least appreciated hot coffee. The rooms were large and had everything you needed. I would have really appreciated a way to do laundry, but they didn’t list that as an amenity so I guess I can’t complain. The hot tub was shut down while we were there, although we wouldn’t have used it even if it was open. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. You have to know this is not a five star luxury resort, but it was clean and comfortable and met our needs very well.

We liked that there was a little store, gas station, and casino all on the property. It was also close to many waterfalls. The staff was all really nice. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the refrigerator in our room was a little noisy. It could have just been the one in our room though, we didn’t say anything about it to the front desk.
