El Buck rack Chalet está ubicado en el Bosque Nacional de Hiawatha con 100 ft. De la propiedad frente al mar en dieciséis millas Lake. Este chalet de tres dormitorios es el destino perfecto para una familia o grupo de amigos que se reúnen para la relajación y la diversión.
En los meses de verano, disfrutar de la pesca, kayak, piragüismo y natación en el lago. Tomar un corto viaje de 15 minutos a las rocas en la foto, una gira de vidrio inferior naufragio en el lago Superior, las playas del Lago Superior, o en bicicleta alrededor de Grand Island.
Durante el invierno, no hay mejor lugar para alojarse y disfrutar de los cientos de miles de motos de nieve preparado senderos de la zona tiene para ofrecer. Nuestra cabaña se encuentra justo en el centro del efecto del lago en el cinturón de nieve Pennisula Superior.

Peaceful Lakefront Retreat

Our family stayed for a week in early June and we were very happy with our stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. No communication problems with the property manager. We stayed with our somewhat anxious pup and she also fell into a daily routine and enjoyed her stay. The house is remote so we were able to let her run off leash without any issues (she's not a runner). There is a property next door but the people staying there were quiet during our stay. Made good use of the kayaks and canoes. If you're out on the lake, make sure you visit the larger section of the lake. The passage was easy to find on the far side and it's beautiful. Weather was perfect in early June and, with the property being open, we didn't have any issues with flies or mosquitos. If my kids were writing this review, they would point out that there are no working TVs in the bedrooms. The only thing we found missing from the kitchen that we could have used was a complete set of measuring cups and spoons, but we made do. The house is in dirt road country, but the roads were all well maintained and we did not need 4wd during our stay with the exception of one wrong turn onto a road that wasn't a road (thanks Google Maps). Cell and GPS reception are poor in the area so make sure you grab directions before you leave the house. All in all, we would happily stay in this house again.

Amazing family getaway

Our family had a great time staying here for the week. We enjoyed the couple of super hot days on the lake, in and on the water. And, spent some time on the cooler days checking out the area - shipwrecks in Lake Superior, exploring the painted rocks and waterfalls and shopping the many shops in Munising. The communication with the owners was great, very responsive when we had questions. I wouldstay here again if we come back to the UP. And if you're looking for more space for additional family or friends to stay, have them check out Snowshoe just next door. We had additional family that stayed there so we all could vacation together.

Excellent stay!

We enjoyed staying at the chalet on Sixteen Mile Lake! We were all very comfortable and woke up to a beautiful snowy, winter scene! We only stayed one night but we enjoyed playing a board game by the fire place, and we appreciated the little details, like the books and figurines in the bunk room. A great experience!

A cozy cabin on the lake

A beautiful scene on winter days. A wall to wall and floor to ceiling view of the lake. Snow deep enough to swallow yardsticks. A frozen forest and hardened lakes, reflecting the sky off the ice. A warm fire and a giant hearth. Blankets and quilts and couches for all. Local markets with fish and Munising welcome. A four star restaurant in town. A long drive through the woods and solace and silence. 10 out of 10.Great location, newer accommodations. A carefully maintained site. Ready when we arrived. Great work. Well done!

Best VRBO that we have ever stayed at. Perfect location as our son and daughter in law live down the road! Beautiful lakefront. Grandkids swam every day. Fishing was good, the property had everything you could think of! We are anxious to book next year!

Heaven at the lake

Absolutely beautiful property. The home and location are perfect. The home is wonderfully equipped with all the amenities. Kayaking the lake was amazing and the location was perfect for accessing Painted Rock, Munising and Marquette. Honestly, it was the best vacation spot ever!

Beautiful chalet

We have stayed at VRBO houses in the U.P for the last 6 years. This is by far the nicest house we have rented. Seems quite new. Well maintained, perfect layout, up to date appliances. Beautiful, quiet lake. Good swimming spot. Quality canoes and kayaks. The only negative is that the fishing was pretty poor. Highly recommended house.

Lovely Lakehouse

We had 6 adults and 1 toddler. Place was plenty big for everyone. Beautiful sunrises to see from the deck overlooking the lake. Everything was clean and in working order. Host Amy was easy to contact with any questions. We did not use the grills or kayaks so can’t comment on those. Plan to stay there again!
