We loved the tranquility, the outlook over the meadows and the horses grazing over the fence, which the kids loved feeding. We really felt at home and was a great place to unwind for a few days. Nicely finished and well appointed with everything we needed.

The rooms met the old-world charm expected of a hotel of its age. The food and staff were both fantastic & welcoming, with the added advantage of booking meals & drinks to my room. Recommended as the place to stay in Wanganui.

Couldnt get tv 1 2 3 channel in the room the showers weren't that great soap in toilet wasnt filled and i did let the manger know and you could hear people in there rooms
