Quiet sun soaked house in Mahia beach
It was good. Except the oven broke on the first night. Hob cracked when boiling water. And the toilet seat was so loose it fell off. The owner has text trying to get compensation but its not our fault. The hobs cracked when trying to boil water and not sure why the toilet was broken

Mahia Hotel & Travel Guide
If you are roaming in New Zealand and want to find a Mahia hotel, it is important to know that Travelocity's hotels portal currently doesn't include any options in Mahia itself.
However, when you visit this pocket of New Zealand, why not book accommodation in Napier, just 60 miles (96 kilometers) outside of Mahia. Napier accommodation options include the The Farmhouse at Mission Estate and The Dome.
If you can spare the time, you could venture to the other parts of North Island. Travel to North Island's art museums, nature museums and history museums. Those wanting to explore some natural spaces can also put aside some time to enjoy the region's beaches and coastal plains. Outdoor-loving visitors may try snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing in the area.
There are a great range of Travelocity-listed accommodation options in Napier, situated 60 miles (96 kilometers) to the southwest of Mahia. Accommodation options here include the Scenic Hotel Te Pania and Navigate Seaside Hotel.
Before saying your farewells to Hawke's Bay, you sure ensure you join the locals watching a thrilling match. Get to Nelson Park, which you can find southwest of Mahia. Book Travelocity-listed accommodation right by the sporting action at the Motel de la Mer or the Palm City Motor Inn.
Gisborne Airport is a primary entry point for arriving in Mahia. It is located 30 miles (50 kilometers) from the center of town. For wise travelers who have plans to stay close by, look into Teal Motor Lodge or Accommodation Ahi Kaa.
