Hotel was clean and in good condition, overall. The parking situation, however was a huge negative. The valet price is now $45/day for overnight, which was not reflected on Expedia or the hotel website. Add in tips and that adds up to a pretty substantial charge, with no viable alternative close by. At the room rates, parking should certainly be included.

I always stay at the Forty-Five. The staff, food, bar and coffee shop are all great. The only consistent negative is the valet parking. They do not help with luggage, it’s always slow, and they just aren’t overly helpful.

When I arrived after traveling, the hotel had overbooked and had given my room to someone else and they pushed me off to a lesser Hilton across town. No concessions made and Marriott customer support said it was my fault for showing up at 11PM.
