My husband and I traveled here for our honeymoon, and needless to say, it was an incredible experience! From the greeting at the dock to the arrival in our room, it was incredible. Our guide was incredible, and they were so caring for the entirety of the stay. The food was great, and we spent most of our time relaxing at the pool and beach with drinks in our hand. We cannot wait to come back!

The property and facilities were well-maintained, and cleaning was good, though unpredictable and not aligned with agreed times. Food and beverage selection was good, but breakfast variety could be improved. Some policies were inconvenient—our group of four could only get one drink per person, making it difficult when taking turns at the bar. Service fell short of 5-star expectations. We waited over an hour for drinks and food, though after raising concerns with the restaurant manager, our orders were expedited—yet other guests continued to experience delays. The resort’s host concept for planning dinners and activities had potential but lacked efficiency. We often received our schedules late in the afternoon, limiting our ability to plan our own vacation. Despite requesting a meeting with the general manager multiple times, he did not meet us, making guests feel unimportant. However, the food and beverage manager did address our concerns. Still, we observed other guests facing similar issues. Most bar staff were excellent, especially Ananya and a bar supervisor.

The Baglioni is a beautiful resort of the highest standard, classy and elegant, truly 5 star. Maldivian paradise meets Italian Chic! We were very well looked after the minute we arrived at Male airport. Baglioni's private car came to collect us and took us to their own private lounge to wait for the sea plane. Sea plane to the island took around 45 minutes. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome by the team. Beautiful island. Great wifi coverage across the whole island (even on the beach). Child friendly resort with childrens club. The pool bar had a discreetly positioned table tennis and table football for adults and children to use. All 3 restaurants are amazing and of the highest standard. Our beach villa was very spacious and the interior decor was chic. swimming pool was often used by our children, as was the sea. Special thanks to Ambe for being an amazing ambassador for the resort. Nothing was too much trouble for him regarding customer care, and provided a true VIP guest experience - THANK YOU Ambe. Ali who looked after us daily for breakfast and most evening meals, again is an asset to the Baglioni brand. Maadh our room assistant who worked super hard to make sure our room and overall stay was as good as it could possibly be also for amusing our boys with his amazing towel creations (swan, crocodile, monkey...). Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno indimenticabile al Baglioni Resort Maldives: tutto perfetto, dal servizio all’accoglienza, con un personale incredibilmente sempre gentile e disponibile. Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Ambe, che è stato il nostro punto di riferimento per ogni cosa, sempre con professionalità e cortesia H24. L’all inclusive va ben oltre le aspettative con la possibilità di vedersi servite colazioni, pranzi e cene direttamente in camera senza alcun extra fee. Indimenticabile anche la cena organizzata per il nostro anniversario, la più bella che abbiamo vissuto finora: tavolo speciale in spiaggia, servizio privato e atmosfera magica, anch’essi senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Tutto ciò ci ha davvero lasciati senza parole, quasi impossibile da credere se associato poi ad un servizio di così alta qualità! Il livello di pulizia della camera e degli ambienti è meticolosissimo, così come la qualità del cibo, sempre sublime, al punto da sembrare di mangiare ogni giorno in un ristorante stellato. Anche il reef è ben mantenuto, con una splendida varietà di pesci e coralli che rendono ogni snorkeling un’esperienza memorabile. Il livello di cura e attenzione ha reso questa vacanza unica. E, nonostante tutti i viaggi che abbiamo fatto, posso tranquillamente dire che questo resort si è guadagnato il nostro podio. Ciao Baglioni… non è un addio, ma un arrivederci perché chi lascia in un luogo un pezzo di cuore, prima o poi ci torna❤️

Fantastic place! Stayed in a water villa, lots of privacy, excellent service and food/drinks, the location of the resort is very private and remote. Great snorkeling around the island.

Perfekt för familjer

Där tredje gången vi åker till Maldiverna med familjen. Vi har varit både på dyrare, men även på billigare ställen och uppfattar det här stället som övre medel. Mycket vacker plats, fina stränder. Trevlig personal. Vi hade ett dubbelrum för familj och var väldigt nöjda med storleken på rummet även om medieutbudet var lite begränsat för familjens underhåll innan läggdags. Hotellet har tre till fyra typer av restauranger. Alla personalen är trevliga, men några presterar inte riktigt till förväntningar så som den japanska Tapani Yakin var under förväntan, likaså utbudet på buffé restaurangen. De har en restaurang som heter Fue ego som är väldigt vacker, men den är väderberoende givetvis. Även en italiensk restaurang som serverar lunch, dagtid och finare middag på kvällstid. Vi åt endast luncherna och pizzan var magisk. Eftersom delar familjen har allergier såsom laktos så gick det att ordna, men med begränsade möjligheter. Vi är vana och personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma med sina begränsade möjligheter. Chefskock var otroligt trevlig och gjorde en indisk rätt till oss än ett av kvällarna.
