Quality of the room and grounds disappointing

The staff was friendly and amazing, but the rooms are not in great repair. Grounds were also not well maintained. Would be ok for a quick overnight sleep - but not at the price listed.

There was a fight ouside our room ar 2am. People were walking around being loud all night. I could here the conversation of the room next to us as if they were standing in my room.

AUGUST 2ND VISIT.

I was actually surprised that our room was nice. Looks like it had been recently upgraded a few months back. But the property outside and in lobby really need upgrading. If not for my room I would have left. The pool area was very dirty. Weeds needed to be pulled. Crack everywhere. Just old and dingy. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. Breakfast was really good and attendant was super nice. Front desk to housekeepers were extremely nice as well. I would stay again.

Property seems to be in transition phase under, possibly, a new owner. Trash in parking lot and overflowing from outside bins. No dumpster seen. Older woman who set up a great breakfast room, in years past, never came in. Microwave smoked and sparked. Improper outlets for microwave and fridge. Use one, or the other, only.

The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean, but it was a dated location. The rooms were upgraded and clean, but the doors felt flimsy and not quite secure because they were old. The same for the restrooms, they were old and a very tight squeeze.

I do t understand why you have this hotel on your site. Please go see it. Ask for the. Bathroom as you register. That should tell you what your room will be like. The lobby is nice. That is all. The door to the room felt like it was about to cave in. The floors were filthy. The bathroom still had poop stains in the commode and down the sides. The bathtub was filthy. There was one bath towel and wash rag. No mat for the bathtub. It was filthy. I checked in and dropped off my luggage and had to get to a wedding. Did not get back until late and discovered my error in booking. Police were there twice during the night. I had prepaid and so I slept in the chair with a bath towel on it. It was disgusting. Hurried this morning and got dressed and left. Makes me worry about using your site and we have been members for a long time.
