What a lovely guesthouse! It is spotlessly clean and quiet, and Patricia is a welcoming and gracious host. She prepares wonderful breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Mountain View if you want a Galway-area stay, a bit outside the city.

We travelled out to various landmarks (Kylemore Abbey, the bridge from "The Quiet Man") and towns, where although it was off-season, there was still plenty to see and do. We will hopefully be back in the summer months."
