Such a great positive experience - tremendous value in a city of really overpriced mediocre offerings. We love this place and wont stay anywhere else. It's very clean and despite furnishings being a little bit dated it still has nice charm with wood beam high ceilings and the beds are really comfortable. They are also renovating so more updates may be forthcoming. Our room overlooking the pool with a private room length sized balcony/terrace is the cherry on top. Cable TV channels are great with in room mini fridge with a separate freezer and a microwave is also very convenient. There is also a great Hawaiian Tiki restaurant attached to the hotel with a pretty impressive menu. Multiple dining options in the surrounding neighborhood - Ventura Blvd is a 15 min walk away or 5 min drive.

The property is currently renovating their units, and we stayed in a unit not yet updated. There was noise from the current construction, but not too loud. We were gone from our unit most of the daytime. Nights were quiet. It is on a very busy street, but that makes it convenient to find places to eat and urgent care (which is 8 blocks away). All in all, we felt very satisfied with our choice to stay here.
