We got there around 10pm to check in and we were surprised by a line of over 10 groups of people in the lobby. The poor front desk worker was the only one there trying to check everyone in. Long wait which was annoying but worker was helpful in explaining everything. Rooms were clean and no complaints. Room keys were finnickey (i spelled that wrong) and they worked for our room but not consistently for other places like the breakfast room. Hot tub was broken which was disappointing. Overall, it's good price for simple, clean stay.

When you approach the location, the exterior looks OK. When you get closer, you see many areas where the wood is falling off the exterior or needs to be replaced. When we checked in, there was one person handling, a very long line, (over 20 people) phones, and a person with a credit card issue. She was the highlight of the trip. She handled it very well. But why management only has one person doing this is beyond me. There were people laying on the grass in the front of the facility. When we walked through the hallways, there were at least 3 people who I counted laying in the hallway. Many of the doors in the hallway were ajar. Didn't feel safe. Seems like there were people who lived at the hotel, and not passing through. Trashcans outside were filling over and had lots of trash on the ground. When we went down for breakfast, they ran out of most of the food, so we went elsewhere. So as you can see, we will not be going back and would not recommend.

Smelly room, smelled like BO and cheese… hallway smelled like cilantro and some vagrant was laying on the ground. 1 million people at breakfast, i belive a bunch of contruction workers are living at this hotel and the families are tagging along for breakfast. Wouldnt reccomend. Staff seemed nice enough.

I tried calling late at night for more pillows and towels ,the phone in room did not work. I figured not a big deal. Next morning the shower did not work. I had to walk to front desk since phone didn’t work. They sent up the cleaning lady the first one couldn’t get shower to work. She went and send a 2nd lady who tells me oh the it’s a little hard for a girl to do it. My husband had tried to open this lady used a screw driver to loosen the knob. Nothing to do with being a girl and everything to do with their shower head not working room 455

It's convenient and close to the main street. We had to be moved to another room because of the smell and it could need more cleaning and upgrades on the furniture and bathroom. Pillows were to hight. It would be nice to have lower ones for people with neck problems.

Front desk people lacks customer service. They are not friendly and pleasant in welcoming the guests, Even when checking out they would not even bother to acknowledge you and they will just tell you to leave the room key on the counter. Ambience in the hotel is gloomy and not relaxing. I don't recommend staying in this place and will NOT stay there next time i go to Lompoc.
