It was a little hard to get to the hotel as the taxi could not find where to drop us off. We were greeted when we arrive and they let us check in early as our room was already ready. the doors are very narrow to the rooms. When we tried to enter the room the sofa bed was open and it was very difficult as it takes up most of the lower room. Once we got the bed closed the sofa was not very comfortable. We also were surprised that the bath was on the first floor and the bedroom was on the 2nd (a real pain in the middle of the night with a winding staircase). The other thing we didn't like was the glass window from the bedroom over the stairs. If you had the lights on in the staircase or downstairs, it lit up the bedroom. Now the good; the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well organized with great water pressure. The hotel is well within walking distance to old town so that was great. Also, it was the start of the June festival for St. Anthony and our neighborhood had many great many family resturants and live performances going on. We had a great time.

Property is on a very steep road. Lobby is small but lovely and cool. Check-in took an overly long time, like 15 minutes! I requested a high quiet room and was given a room on the bottom floor next to the lobby. Was generally quiet unless someone came in late and banged the door. Bed was comfy and I’d like to have taken the mattress home tbh as my back didn’t ache all week. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Location was fab for restaurants and getting around the city.

Beatiful and clean hotel in Lisbon Alfama district. This is walkable to many attractions, close to dining, groceries, tram, uber/bolt stops. Uber/bolt will not be able to drop off in front of the hotel but private transport service and taxi with access to the narrow street will be able to drop off/pick up in front of the hotel. Reception people are friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than check-in time and our room was ready. Contact them prior to arrival and if possible, they will accommodate your request to check earlier when the room is available. Bed are comfortable and smells fresh upon arrival. There’s a fridge, coffee pot, instant coffee/tea and water. The view in our room was a plus. There’s breakfast for additional fee which I did not include in this stay. I will choose this hotel again when i visit Lisbon. Highly recommended. Shout out to Miguel who checked us in, Flavio who provided the history of the hotel and Matthias who checked us out and helped us with our taxi service. Kudos to all who maintains this hotel.

There was a neighbourhood party of at least 30 people going on in the street right outside and below the rooms of the hotel that went on until well past 1 am. It was incredibly noisy, constant yelling and loud shouting and completely impossible to sleep. It is not a problem to expect noise until at least 11 pm but for it to continue unabated in any way until well after 1 am is not OK and the staff did nothing to even try to deal with the issue. When we called down all they said was there was really nothing they could do about it. Throughout the stay, the staff made us feel like we were interrupting them. Would NEVER stay there again

Superb Breakfast

Location is within the old town, just a few steps away from the tram line. However, the road from the tramline to the hotel's entrance is a downhill. We booked for a room with 2 single beds upstairs, 1 queen bed (sofa bed) in the living room. Our room looks clean but we ended with a few bed bug marks after our overnight stay. Their free breakfast is superb!

Great Hotel in Alfama. Our room was a little small as we had 3 people so we needed a fold out couch in the living room. The breakfast was very busy on our first morning so we had to eat outside, there is not a lot of room in this area. However the breakfast was beautiful and the location of this Hotel is fantastic. So close to everything.
