The location is the best. The room is very large. People are friendly and nice; The Internet is slow, it was almost not working on the first day; one night it lost power; the vanity and toilet are in different room and far from each other. The table is small for work; a little noisy at night

This property is a hidden gem and what I would truly consider “boutique”. The hotel is centrally located and had more of a neighborhood feel versus being in the heavy tourist area. The hotel is well appointed, clean and modern rooms with great amenities. Highly recommend for those looking for a unique experience in Lisbon.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. I would like to extend special appreciation to Monica, whose outstanding professionalism and kindness truly stood out. After I inadvertently left my wedding rings in my room, she located them immediately, arranged secure shipment back to me, provided tracking information, and remained consistently responsive throughout the entire process. Her dedication and care were truly remarkable. The hotel itself is immaculate, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms offer a beautiful blend of old-world charm and modern elegance, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and comfortable. The property’s location is ideal—centrally situated and within easy reach of nearby attractions. The square facing the hotel is picturesque and includes a lovely outdoor seating area with a fire feature, perfect for enjoying an evening beverage or a warm coffee or tea. Breakfast each morning was excellent, offering a variety of options, fresh fruit, and consistently high-quality coffee. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

The room and staff were fantastic and the location was perfect until the late evenings and nights when the bars were in full swing. It was very loud and once they let out ranging from about 2:00 to 4:00 AM, every night. It was too load to sleep.

The location is great, and the staff is friendly and responsive. However, the room condition could be better. The layout was pretty bad, and the room was very cluttered and inconvenient. There was no proper desk. They could organize the current better by arranging them into built in closets rather putting them all on the ground. The room needs a proper desk. There wasn't even enough space to put a laptop on and work. For the money I paid, I was expecting a more comfortable room. The same thing applies to the bathroom.

As the name suggests, this hotel occupies a former government building that’s been converted into a boutique stay while retaining much of its original character. The location is unbeatable — a true 5/5 in the heart of Lisbon. However, travelers seeking the modern amenities and polish of a contemporary hotel may find it less refined. It’s best suited for those who appreciate charm, history, and atmosphere over luxury updates.

My wife being gluten free was offered (with notice) a lovely gluten free baguette and cakes for breakfast along with the fruits, hams, cheese and eggs and on a morning she was unwell and unable to get to the restaurant, a breakfast picnic was provided for her. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful.

A very unique property that once was the Brazilian Consulate in Lisbon. It is the heart of great energy and history in Lisbon. Such a great way to start our trip. Risul at the front desk was an absolute professional and helped guide us through our visit and arrange an excellent driving tour of Sintra/Pena Palace. Would absolutely stay here again.
