It was great to be back at Hotel Avenida Palace. We stayed here 11 years ago loved it. This time was just as wonderful. Great breakfast and overall a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff! Highly recommend!!!

Charming and Luxurious Stay in Lisbon

We stayed two nights at Avenida Palace and loved the experience. The hotel feels like a real palace, with elegant decor and antique-style furniture. It’s perfectly located near major attractions and next to the train station (you might hear trains occasionally, but it didn’t bother us). Breakfast was the most varied and delicious we’ve had in Europe. The staff were kind and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to find small treats waiting in our room each day. Only downside: the carpets had a slight odor – but overall, a fantastic stay. Would happily return!

The hotel is lovely and echos the history of its times. We stayed in a room with a separate sitting room and spacious bedroom with a bathroom down the hall. It was conveniently located to the different sites. There were some great restaurants nearby. The bar in the hotel and well appointed salon offered a lovely escape from the crowds. The breakfast had a full array of wonderful choices for all. The staff was responsive and very pleasant.

First Class Hotel

This beautiful hotel is located in a very central area less than 2 miles from the cruise port, which was our next destination. Everything was first class, especially the breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel.

The mattresses were a little hard but manageable. For Canadian Whisky drinkers, a double Crown and coke was about $50 CDN. (Ouch). The location is unbeatable and the staff were incredible. Highly recommended.

The tapestries, chandeliers, spiral staircase, exquisite colours and elegant furniture made this palace a delightful place to stay. Our room had plenty of space and a gorgeous bay window. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had! The staff was extremely attentive too. A definite must!
