Poor Cleanliness, Safety, and Customer Service

Horrible experience. Very dirty: brown stains on comforter, water stains on ceiling, mold in bathroom, AC not working, pool out of service, and construction hazards including open electrical wires and sharp metal paneling outisde in areas reserved for guests to walk pets... the worst part was that the phone number to complain or resolve any of these issues is a cylical series of menus through choice hotels- nothing to speak to an actual agent of the physical hotel you are staying. Nobody at front desk either. Really awful experience. After complaining, I recieved a legnthy and defensive email from the manager about the pool's construction and how they took it off the website as an ammenity; yet, nothing about the cleanliness, lack of customer service, or construction safety hazards. There are much better hotels in this area at a more reasonable price for what you recieve.

We arrived after 11 at night, Staff at check in was lovely but the room was not appealing. There were stains on the comforter and pillows. Curtains were full of dust and stains, I wouldn’t allow my husband to open them. Ceiling was also stained, that’s all I could think about all night. If it wasn’t already middle of the night when we got there, I would have found another hotel.
