Resort is close to airport. Was able to get anywhere on island in less than an hour from resort. Would definitely stay here again. I do feel a resort fee and separate parking fee is excessive.

Property is beautiful and location amazing! They were remodeling rooms on our floor and there were workman and noisy equipment along with remodeling supplies in the hallway. However they did work at minimizing the noise and mess and everyone was very nice.

I was very disappointed in the condition of the room. There was a hole in the wall, crack in the tile floor, chipped paint and a crack in the bathtub. Housekeeping came at 8:30 am, too early and the most frustrating part was the construction going on across the hall at 7:30 am! You can hear everything, and we shouldn’t have been put on the same floor as construction going on. The manager tried to make it my mistake and it was only until I became very upset that she finally agreed to wave some of our fees. Not impressed at all and will definitely not be returning to this resort!

Hotel was great. The room could have been cleaner. Under the beds were gross not vacuumed. The carpets were dirty but all in all great stay. Staff was very friendly.

We loved the open air lobby with ample seating for guests. Multiple pools and hot tubs to choose from. Many choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Parking fees seemed a bit much for self parking,but I'm sure any resort on the island will have the same. We would definitely stay again. We had no complaints.

Location of microwave Lack of signs to direct people when moving microwave to different building Roaches in the microwave all over Had to throw all my food i had bought for the family, ice machine did not work, and roach in our room. Saddie the front desk ladie was amazing i give her a 5 star, if it were not for sadie i would of give a 2 star because view was super nice

Hotels.com customers are treated badly.

OUTRIGGER Kauaʻi Beach Resort & Spa treats the Hotels.com and Expedia customers badly compared to those who booked through the OUTRIGGER directly. We booked for an Oceanview room but what we were given was a room overlooking the rooftop of the lower-level hotel rooms and the ocean was visible from far distance. When we asked this is not what the Oceanview, they replied “the Oceanview rooms are booked now” and another person behind the counter said “Well, you booked through the Expedia.” Another mistreatment was that, they did not offer to us the discount coupons for the Concierge entertainments but other guests received these coupons.
