Great stay but needed some adjustments
Overall, we enjoyed our stay with two other families staying with us for a total of 10 in the home. The kitchen wasn’t as clean as expected as I managed to step on a small shard of glass and cut my foot within the first hour in the home. We loved having the kitchen to prepare meals but it was not stocked with enough dish towels (just a single one) or oven mitts so we actually purchased an oven mitt at the store before contacting the host to ask if there were more supplies at the home. Amazingly, she brought some over to the home within an hour! The master bathroom didn’t have enough towels either, but we found an extra in another bathroom. Having the pool was awesome, but we had an issue with heating. We requested the hot tub to be heated but there was an issue that heated the entire pool and hot tub. The pool was 98 degrees in the Vegas summer, which was quite unpleasant. Luckily the pool cooled down but took about two days to become enjoyable in the heat. I didn’t appreciate the host’s response to make us feel like we did something wrong - basically she told us that only the hot tub heating was turned on when I told her otherwise. Honestly I would have been okay if a mistake was admitted and apology was made. But nothing. The blinds in the master were also kind of sketchy - they were missing a couple of slats so the morning sun was quite bright. The beds were also very firm and foam, just fyi for the review readers out there.
