What a neat property with amazing views and history. You are close to the village center with plenty of dining options, and very close to the Gerges du Verdon. Sylvie was a joy to meet and very attentive to our needs. Book it!!

Mix of Good and Bad

The gite is in an excellent location for cycling / hiking the gorge, with a lovely view over the village of Palud. However, the property advert is misleading and incorrect. In particular: there is no internet at the house, there are no sofas to relax on in the lounge (the advertised “sofa bed” is actually an old single bed under the stairs - not suitable for sitting on), there cleaning is not good - there was a used sanitary towel left in the bedside table! Overall, it is very dark inside the property (understandable as it is old) but it needs decorating, improved furniture (the beds were metal camp-style beds), and a bit of brightening up (eg take away the old brown pictures) The owner is friendly, and dealt a problem with the electricity and water very quickly. The house also has good practicalities like a washing machine. But we would not stay there again due to the lack of sofa, WiFi, and poor cleaning.

Idéal pour se ressourcer. Des paysages à couper le souffle. Location au calme, au milieu de la nature mais avec l'avantage d'avoir une supérette (avec station essence) à 8 min à pied dans le village. Particulièrement adaptée à tous les amateurs de randos, de sports aquatiques ou juste de belle nature et de tranquillité. La propriétaire Sylvie est très discrète mais disponible en cas de besoin. Maison fonctionnelle mais rustique . Pour l exterieur ce serait bien une petite terrasse pour pouvoir bien profiter de l exterieur et une cloture pour que les chiens des voisins ne viennent pas jusqu à la maison .

Wir hatten eine super freundliche Gastgeberin, die uns viele Möglichkeiten und Gehimtips erzählt hat. Das Haus hat über alle notwendigen Einrichtungen verfügt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist ruhig und ideal um die Provence zu erkunden oder die Verdonschlucht zu erwandern. Gerne wieder.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus. Schöner Blick über La Palud und sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in und um die Schlucht ohne lange Anfahrt. Haus ist in einem rustikalen Stil welcher uns gut gefallen hat. Nette Vermieterin die uns gut über die Umgebung / Ort informiert hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
