No pool, false advertising!

I booked this hotel for one night, and paid 40% more than others in the area, specifically because it had a pool. It does not! There is a pool in the adjacent hotel which costs 20 Euros a day, and only opens from 10am until 6pm. This detail isn't anywhere to be found on the listing either, so when I arrived at 6.30pm looking forward to a swim, I couldn't even if I've been prepared to pay the extra! You're best off going elsewhere and swimming in the lake, which is much more scenic anyway. Can't fault the location, but that wasn't the point!

Staff was pleasant & helpful. Found dog Poop on my front door, from one of the 7 dogs (1 cat) the owner, Brigitte owns, that roam free throughout the property & food area. Breakfast area smells like wet dogs!

Large Room with 2 closets, Truly a garden surround

The property is beautiful and you have the options of an outdoor and an indoor (spa) pool We took advantage of both. It is very walkable to the town of Les Salles. If you choose this location I recommend you eat once at La Plancha. Escargot were great.

We booked on hotels.com for one night at this location. When we arrived we were told that they were oversold and there was no room available. But they made arrangements for us to stay down the street at an apartment which was lovely. Unfortunately it did not have Wi-Fi and there was no wine opener. But the apartment itself was very nice and closer to the village.

Hidden gem

Coming to this quite remote village of Les Salles du Verdon from the gorges at night felt a little bit surreal. Still dizzy after the long drive through the serpentine road we came to this very inviting place greeted by the owner himself. He kept the lights on for us and pretty warm place with all the amenities one may need to spend the quiet night. The next morning we woke up to a delicious breakfast with a galore of local produce including some of the homemade fruit preserves.

Very good but pictures are misleading

The hotel is well located within walking distance to restaurants and bakeries, and a short drive to the gorge, which was very handy. Room was nicely decorated. It just needs to be pointed out that the main picture promoting the hotel is actually of a pool in the spa next to the accommodation, and you need to pay to use it... I think this is not fair as it looks like is included.

Lovely relaxing stay.

Lovely stay. Breakfast is €10 which I felt quite expensive for buffet although everything you could want! Spa facilities and pool are down a short hill so if you have trouble walking don’t choose it for those facilities. Pool was small so didn’t bother using.

It’s a wonderful place! Very clean, quiet, with great outdoor space next to each room. Outside the rooms, the ambiance is authentic Provence: very charming and relaxing. Rooms were clean, air conditioned, and with modern furniture and amenities. The hostess is very friendly and spoke excellent English.

Très jolie gite, la chambre était belle et climatisée. Le point négatif, c'est que j'ai réservé la chambre sur hôtel.com pour 115 € la nuit dés la réservation validé, c'est passer à 126,58 € et arriver là-bas c'était 138 € et des poussières, le déjeuner était à 15 € au lieu de 12 comme indiquer sur le site, nous ne l'avons pas pris par contre, nous sommes allés déjeuner au restaurant le chêne vert dans le village ou pour le même prix, nous avons super bien déjeuné saler.
