Bali at its best

The resort is beautiful, the moment you step into the foyer you feel relaxed. The sunset sitting on the deck at the beach is amazing and so are the cocktails. Service and friendliness by staff is wonderful. We had two nights there before our flight home and were so happy to be given a shower room to shower and freshen up before our flight home.

The hotel was beautiful but the food was not good at all. The breakfast food was cold, they have liquor options and they are listed on the menu as glass or something else and when you ask for a glass they give you a cup with a shot in it, which was very disappointing. However, there’s a liquor store across the street it’s called Dbooze; and food around the corner. Johnny Tacos was very good. If you walk around and explore the area you’ll find things. Also, travel to Ubud that’s where it’s more fun and exciting. Kuta, which is where the hotel is, is quiet, and calm. It’s not as much fun you’d have to travel away from Kuta.

We had recently stayed at other 5 star Hotels in Seminyak and Nusa Dua and while we can see how this property rates very highly with travellers, we were both a little underwhelmed in our visit. Just little things like our rooms was only made up during the day when we phoned to have it done. The first few days we had our make room sign up and were out all day, but the room as only made up when we went for tea (and asked for it). Our simple coffee orders at breakfast was never the same and never hot (until we asked for hot coffee). We were very excited for breakfasts (there is so much choice), though some items like pancakes were only ever half cooked, scrambled eggs were always very liquid and runny. Again, we can see how people really rate this place, its good, just not comparable to other 5 star like the Seminyak resort or the Hyatt. We had an early morning wake up on the Sunday morning as there was a fishing comp with a VERY loud speaker PA that woke us up very early. The shower was great, the towels very thick and soft. We had to request new pillows (unusual not to have a choice/selection). Some staff were very helpful and friendly, some not overly enthused, we noticed staff constantly on their phones. The pool is great, but never enough chairs and the pool very crowded. The photos look amazing online, but the 2 pools are very small, very crowded, compared to other resorts. Would stay again if we had to - but only "just" scrapes in as 5 star in our opinion.

Spent an amazing 8 days here with my family. The whole experience was amazing. Great hotel and resort and a place of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of Kuta. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The sunsets are to die for and so chilled. Great Food at both restaurants is definitely 5 Star. Buffet breakfast outstanding and the choice of food second to none. Best cocktails we’ve had at any hotel we’ve stayed at. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view. The pool area and gardens were well maintained by the staff, and it truly felt like a tropical paradise. The location is ideal—peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to explore the surrounding area. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere of comfort and luxury. I highly recommend this resort to anyone I can't wait to come back!

The resort is without doubt the best resort in Kuta, nothing else comes close. They've even thought of playing bird song to make you forget you're in the middle of the city. The staff are absolutely lovely. The daily breakfast is like nothing I've ever experienced, it caters to absolutely every nationality's preference.

This is not a cheap property for Kuta standards but it is certainly first class, the breakfast, best ive had anywhere in the world. Beds were excellent. But the coffee was the best, best anywhere in all of Bali.
