Wonderful staff. Low pressure, cold shower. Open, noisy property at night. Bugs in common areas. Restaurant has okay food-cash only. Wonderful pool. No where to put belongings in the room. Can never find a hallway trashcan. Again, wonderful staff. Lovely people! Would stay again.

Lovely, wonderful, sincere staff! Can't say enough good things about their exceptional level of attentiveness. Even despite some bumps into the language barrier. The rooms are very nice and well-maintained at first glance. It's clear they really care about their reputation. There's a refrigerator in the room, TV and AC with a dozen options. Lovely, clean pool adorned with flowers every day. Downside: unfortunately, it's a multilevel open floor plan and other guests think they rented a private mansion--raising hell all hours of the night and morning. There's some people just outside the property screaming weekend nights. Also, multiple dogs outside barking all night. The showers have almost no pressure and rarely has hot water. There's no definite closet or dresser to put things away. No chair or table in the room. There are tables and chairs in the main lobby but it's too much traffic if you want to do work on your laptop without being spied on by other guests. There's also the mosquitoes and tiny spiders that get on you if you're in the lobby too long. The hotel has a restaurant across the alley. They make adequate food but only take cash. And there's bugs under the tables their too. So, it's more good than bad. If you plan on club hop or go on half day tours, this is great! But if you have some remote work to do, zoom calls etc. on an extended stay, it's not going to be too comfortable. I'd come back again but only for a few days.

Despite seeing reviews on social media not to stay kuta we are both so glad that we still went ahead and booked to stay in kuta. We love the service, the property ,but would be nice to have an elevator but other than that we enjoyed our stay. Front desk i would like to aknowledge the beautiful Wira for going out of her way to ensure our stay at samsara was enjoyable Terima kasih. The 2 beautiful ladies in the restraunt Fatim and Linda i hope i got their names right, u both make yummy food and service was amazing. And housekeeping, thank you so much Dean for making sure our room is clean and everything is topped up. I reccomend samsara of your looking to stay in kuta.

Beautiful hotel in good location

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room is clean and a good size. The pool is well kept and the waiting area around the pool is very aesthetic. Beds were also very comfortable! Would recommend.

Free breakfast from 7:30-10 restaurant across the street very cheap. Very clean pool, small room but clean and comfy nice and cool. There is a temple next door that practices their cultural music sometimes when there is a holiday that can be annoying but not for very long. The staff is extremely friendly they usually learn your name "have a good day rachel". This has been my favorite hotel in bali so far.

Was it just unlucky?

My first day of stay here was not too pleasing an experience. The property was located off a motorcycle lane and made it a bit difficult to locate during the night. Was welcomed at the reception by a friendly and excellent English speaking staff. I was then assigned a room on the top floor which felt a bit dusty. Had an issue with the WiFi which peculiarly needs a reboot of the mobile and frequent attempts, the air cond wasn't working at all and the phone as well and had to make a couple of trips up and down the stairs to the reception to get help. A technician was sent up after awhile to fix the air cond and by then, I've asked to change rooms as its getting late. The following days onwards were good experience with a comfy room, great ambience, nice pool, friendly and helpful staffs and a central location to get anything within walking distance.

It’s a gem

Great service! Rooms are alright but it’s the staff that makes all the difference. Hotel was also an oasis in just off a busy road. Will stay again if I want to be near Legian/Kuta
