Seems to be a pattern When I arrived , the clerk they didn't have my reservation despite the fact she was given all the information. It took some time to get her to find the reservation I have had similar experience lately in Fredricton & Montreal Seems that the staff have a racial view of Canadians. and try to take advantage of our mellow way of dealing & believing mis-information.

Good for the price but not very clean

We were surprised that the beds were well made, clean and comfortable. However, there was an empty bag of chips left in a drawer, a table that was not wiped down (had crumbs and a few pieces of garbage), an empty water bottle in the window, and a dirty toilet. Front desk service was great! They gave us a couple bottles of spring water and we’re always happy to greet us.

We stayed here for one night from 7-8 April 2024. The toilet was not working. Housekeeping came to fix it but did not succeed and in the process somehow took the door to the room off its hinges. (He had stuck something in it to jam it open while he went back and forth). Neither the door nor the toilet was ever properly fixed. They gave me a plunger to use. It was cold so I turned on the heater. Black soot flew out of it and I quickly turned it off. The TV did not work and the Internet was poor. We slept ok despite noises from neighbouring rooms. We asked Expedia to request a partial refund based on our experience. The management refused.

The whole hotel smells musty. The towels didn’t look clean, and being touring musicians, having no elevator, let alone a cart to carry your stuff in, climbing stairs was NOT COOL.

You may want to consider removing this from Expedia. It was extremely dirty and it smelled. The hallway was awful. The doorway at the entrance had crumbling concrete. There were questionable people around the building. It was very creepy. We did not stay more than 15 minutes until we found somewhere else.

Bad part of town way off the freeway. Ugly old rundown parking lot and building. Checkin clerk suggested parking in the middle of the lot so she could keep an eye on the car. Tiny bathroom with no vanity or counter. Multiple roach baits scattered around and roach spray in trash can in room. they didn't work but I killed 4 roaches in the morning. they put us on the second floor with no elevator for my wife with mobility issues. Couldnt pay me to go back.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and pleasant/courteous and helpful. We had trouble with the TV and they came up right away to fix it. Our room was a little chilly the first night, they fixed it right away. The building is a little tired and could use a face lift. The people next to us talked and argued ALLNIGHT!! And we could hear a dog barking in a room nearby every so often. But all in all it served our need for the time.

The Econo Lodge is conveniently located near downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Breakfast buffet was really nice and the coffee was great!
