The property is fabulous with 6 buildings, two tennis/pickleball areas, two pool areas , fitness room and of course right on the beach. Masterful design of the buildings makes it feel very private and the landscaping is gorgeous. The larger pool area has a cabana with a full kitchen which would be nice for large family gatherings. Each pool area has BBQs as well. We loved unit B106. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and easy path down to beach right in front of the lanai. We had a few issues come up during our stay and everything was attended to quickly. Really great to have house cleaning service a few times. Sofa and sitting area very nice.

Amazing slice of paradise

From the sophisticated quality/decor of the unit, to the direct access and views to a beautiful beach - Makena Surf exceeded our expectations to say the least! Furthermore, the Coral Tree Residence management team provided excellent customer service, which made us feel right at home. Mahalo for the amazing stay and we will definitely return!

Beautiful condo and so close to beach.

We were very happy with our stay. We loved the path to beach (right off lanai). Wonderful beach for all ages. Any issues we had with condo were quickly addressed. Would gladly stay here again.

Perfect Maui location

We absolutely loved this condo in Wailea. Perfect perfect location. Open the sliding glass doors and you are at the ocean. We snorkeled with turtles, body boarded in the waves, laid out in the sun. Nice, clean, spacious condo. Will return again...hopefully soon!

Beautiful beachfront getaway

Everything about our vacation to Makena Surf was fantastic! We had direct access to the beach right off the patio. The kids played in the ocean almost non-stop. We were close to Wailea shops and restaurants. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back in the future!

Dream condo in paradise

It was even better than the pictures! The beach with a short trail to it is right on the lawn in front of the place and when you return, there is a hose connected to the unit to get all the sand off. Everything is gorgeous- both bathrooms are identical, huge and well appointed. It was the first time we've stayed in a Maui condo that had quality non-stick cookware and well-functioning appliances. The beach is steps away from the lawn via a short trail and the snorkeling to the left was amazing (snowflake and moray eels, turtles, trigger fish and the list goes on). What's more, it's a great place to walk. You can towards Wailea and hit the oceanfront path or towards Makena and enjoy the landing, the beach and the paths up the large hill Pu'u Ola'i,. If you play tennis- the courts are lovely and well kept. There were no racquets or balls, so you may want to bring some. Overall, I can't think of a better place to stay on the island.

Great week in Makena!

Our stay at this Makena Surf property was amazing! The property itself was perfect for our family of 4, and the views of the beach, the ocean and the sunsets were epic!

Wow! Best location and views!

The photos in the description for this unit do not show how amazing thE location of this particular unit is! The back lanai has a great view, with two chaise lounges, a dining table, nice Weber Grill, and a "private" hidden path that gets you directly to the powder-sift sand in 15 seconds. The beach is secluded with soft sand and snorkeling with turtles! We saw kayak and snorkeling tours there everyday, but if you snorkel early in the morning, there is no one around and you get the turtles to yourself. The condo itself is very nice, with a kitchen that has all the appliances, silverware, dinnerware, etc that you would ever need. They even had a rice cooker and Tupperware! Our only complaint is that there was not a way to play any music, even though they had a Sonos system and speakers. There were two TVs but only with cable television access. There was no access to Netflix or any other streaming service. we should have brought our apple tv along. Internet speed was good so we listened to music and relaxed with night time movies on our laptops/tablets. Not ideal, but the location and view and other amenities made up for it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Great experience

Overall impression is that it was great. We booked this unit because one of our party has mobility issues and wanted to be on the ground floor and as close to the beach as possible. Hit both criteria perfectly. Our only surprise was how good the snorkeling is immediately in front of the property. No need to drive to the areas were we have snorkeled in the past. Sea turtles and at least ten species of fish every day.

Beautiful property and well kept.

Everything about this trip was excellent and we can't wait to come back. The caretakers were sweet and very kind. The grounds keepers and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. We celebrated my parents 50 year wedding anniversary and 70th Birthday. When we arrived, they had wine and balloons to greet us. Very cool and nice touch. The unit we stayed in was perfect for us. We will be coming back.
