Although this property was on the waterway, I found it extremely noisy because of a roadway next to it garbage trucks early morning motorcycles racing by it was not very quiet. There are two restaurants on either side of the establishment and that was nice to be able to get a drink or eat, but I noticed one of the restaurants and bars was open until late, and there was a lot of noise coming from the bar which I could even hear in my room

Living on a canal was interesting and it provided all that we needed. Nice pool. Not the hot tub but the food from the restaurant was good and staff really nice. I’d recommend it.

The property was nice, but it needs some work. The door did not close easily, there were several spots in the bathroom where paint was peeling and grout/caulking needed to be done. The view we had of the canal and boats was really great. Parking can be an issue too. Had to call down to the front desk and the lady who picked up hun g up the 1st time I called. Then when she did answer, it seemed like it was totally a bother to have to talk to me. Very short and sighed a lot. Did not make a great impression.

Our second time staying here. Not the fanciest but can't beat the location. So many fish, sharks, manatees, etc to see in the canal. Pool is great. Short drive to good snorkeling. Breakfast is not good. Love this place!

Allergy issues

Our room had a musty smell which is bad for allergy/asthma sufferers like me. However, our friends had a beautiful room in a different building that did not have musty smell. Otherwise, the grounds, pool, and restaurant were all beautiful and we would definitely go back. Thanks
