I highly recommend the Siesta hotel that was built a few months ago. It’s in a perfect location, 1 min from Bakirkoy metro station, right next to the big mall, many shops, restaurants, coffee/tea shops, currency exchange locations. It’s very safe and vibrant environment in the neighborhood. The hotel has an elevator which is rare in this area. Some hotels around only have stairs. They clean the room daily and bring fresh sets of towels. My room was on the 2d floor or in their system 1st and I often could feel the smoke inside the room. Perhaps, it was coming from outside. I suggest to request a room on higher floors. The staff speaks Turkish, English and Russian. Very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be returning back.

The Siesta hotel in Bakırköy offered a very pleasant stay at a very convenient location. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and very efficient. The room was very spacious and all amenities were nicely done. The sleep quality was excellent and mattresses felt like sleeping at home. It was within walking distance to shops restaurants train station. We stayed for 2 week's and loved coming back after every daily trip to wonderful landmarks that Istanbul offers. Highly recommend Siesta hotel.

I really liked this place. All staff spoke and understood English very well and it was so convenient that it had a 24/7 pharmacy right close by and I walked everywhere and had the ability to take uber from and to. Over all I highly recommend it.

The hotel experience was disappointing. We were relocated to a different establishment, which was in a state of disrepair and had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of sewage. The staff exhibited a lack of assistance, and the overall atmosphere was unsafe due to the hotel’s activities

Conveniently located clean hotel

It is a simple but clean hotel close to metro, restaurants and shopping malls. The front desk staff was very nice- they upgraded us to a better room, shared ideas for good places to eat, reserved taxi to airport and made sure that we wake up early morning to catch our flight. The issues we had were a) noise- our neighbors had a late nite argument in their room and it got a bit loud. Somebody else had their TV on very late and we could hear it; b) the cleaning chemical they use for their elevator or lobby had a strong smell. Not sure what they use but I could feel it in the room and it gave me a headache.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Siesta hotel. Right after booking, we received a warm and personal welcome message, which set a great tone. When we asked to switch to a larger room, Alper assisted us right away – friendly and efficient throughout. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of Bakırköy, just a one-minute walk (about 200 meters) from Capacity Mall, and close to restaurants, cafés, and shops. Our room was fresh, clean, and tidied every day. All the staff were kind, helpful, and professional. Service was excellent from start to finish. A well-run hotel with great value and a friendly atmosphere. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfortable the room was. We have traveled in Turkey a lot and finding a nice room in this price range has been a challenge. Our only complaint about the room is that the only window faced the service well of sorts and no light was coming in. Other than that is was a pleasant stay

Property itself was well maintained and looked like the images. Only thing I would say is the sofa bed is only a single not a double and the floors in the room were very dirty- my socks were flithy every day! Everything else was spot on.
