Convenient and good value - close to heart of the

small but convenient, close to heart of Istanbul. Saban was really accommodating and very helpful. Both units were 10 minutes walk from the centre of things

Worst Experience and worst hotel in Istanbul

Th hotel was absolutely disgusting and very bad quality. I had 5 members of my family who were stranded overnight with no heating, no clean bedsheets, and a rude receptionist. The place does not reflect what is written on hotel.com reveiw and the picture are certainly not real either. Please be careful when you book this place.

If you care about the price.. then this's a good deal.. just put in mind, it's a small clean apartment. Furnished with basic furniture with below standard entrance. The owner is quite nice person. The location is good.

Our stay at Ekim Apartments

We had a great stay, everything clean and all the kitchen utensils available. there was a safe inside to keep our valuables, nice neighborhood quiet and felt very safe. Locked outside door to the building that only residents with a key could enter. Many things nearby to do and restaraunts. Everything we needed was there. I would recomend Ekim apartments to anyone.

We had booked an apartment for a family of 7. After reading reviews I realised the larger apartments were at the bottom of a steep hill. As the booking was nonrefundable they wouldn't cancel but offered 2 smaller apartments closer to the blue mosque. The ground floor apartment was fine only problem was smell in the bathroom and no view from the bedroom. Bed was uncomfortable. The semi basement apartment had mould in the bedroom,sitting room and kitchen. The whole flat smelt damp. The bed moved when you changed sides. We required an extra matress which was also filthy. Pros -good wifi, 3 min walk to blue mosque, many places to eat nearby. Daily cleaner. Clean towels daily. Cons -mould and smell of damp in semibase Hygiene of matress and duvets was poor/ average Apart from CNN and BBC news no English channels. My kids were ill during the holiday so I ended up spending a lot of time in the apartment. I would never recommend the semi basement. Glad to be back home !

Very good place to stay

Our stay at Ekim was very pleasent. There was a bit of misunderstanding about the number of bedroom in the begining and we were given a 1 bedroom apt inspite of email confirmation that it was a 2 bedroom place but they found us a bigger apt in a different building. Tried to charge us extra fee but honoured their original price due to the email confirmation they had sent us.Very clean, daily cleaning. Great neighbourhood and safe. Close to all major attractions.

Great Location; excellent value.

Ekim apartments maintain a number of different apartments. I went by the location listed on my reservation, but our apartment was about a mile away. The test of good customer service is when a guest/customer has a problem, and the staff handles the problem to the customer's satisfaction. When I expressed dissatisfaction with my apartment and the location, the staff exceeded my expectations. They took care of all my issues by moving us to a newly renovated nice apartment at a great location.

small nice studio in the heart of the old city

The hotel is a renovated old big house. Studio is small but nice, has a king size bed and one sofa, in addition to a tiny kitchen area with a sink, plates and small fridge. The extra metal bed is not comfortable but we used the extra mattress. Our studio had a small balcony with a little far view of sea water and backyard of old big houses with trees and actual railways. Studio was cleaned daily. If you like being in the old city, at 5 minutes walk from the blue mosque and tramway station at a reasonable price, then this is a perfect place.

A very comfortable place with the perfect staff.

We stayed there for 5 days, Ayub the nice young guy help us from day one with his staff, a very polite and professional and always ready to help. Hotel staff has arranged the pick-up from airport as well as drop off. As soon as we arrived there the hotel staff helped us with the luggage. We got the ground level apartment, it was spacious two room apartment with a living room and nice spacious washroom / toilet with shower. Apartment was serviced and cleaned everyday. Basic kitchen utensils and plates were also provided. Very well located in the heart of Sultanahmet area, Blue Mosque is merely a 5 minute walk and the tram station is 6 to 7 minutes walk with all the restaurants and tourist attractions of Istanbul like Hagia Soffia, Topkappi palace . I would go there again and strongly recommend to anyone.

Ekim Apartment

Instead of an apartment that we had booked we were given two rooms on a separate floor. One had kitchen faculties which was useful. The name of the apartment has also changed so was confused if were in the right place or not. Otherwise, we had a good stay. The property is close the Blue Mosque (4-5 mins walk) and the area has a lot of character. Hotel staff were friendly and we use the pick up / drop off fr0m airport which all worked out fine. Rooms are clean, bathroom were updated and working and all in all we would come back.
