Beach was nice with lots of shells!

We just stayed for a long weekend so we didn’t have a lot of time to explore but loved being right by the beach and the accommodations were well kept

Good for a short stay... but be prepared to walk some stairs!

Stayed there for a girls weekend. The place was roomy and in a great location. It would be great if you wanted to stay during summer. It’s right next to Boardwalk. So you can walk there for the cabana bar and atmosphere. My only con is that it is on the third floor. There were so many stairs! Then, more stairs inside for the bedrooms upstairs. So unloading and carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs was a little exhausting... and I’m in shape! I think it should be listed in the description because had I been elderly or handicapped... it could have been a huge problem!

Nice rental/very sparse

Overall this is a nice rental, at a great resort, in a good location. We've rented through VRBO a number of times and it is always successful. This unit is clearly managed through a rental company and the furnishings are very sparse. There is absolutely nothing left in the kitchen regarding supplies (not even salt/pepper or any coffee filters) but pots/pans are plentiful. The unit was relatively clean - a trash can in bedroom had not been emptied and the plug in the master bath sink did not work. Housekeeping had left dirty laundry bags below the building and they stayed there our entire stay. The new floors are very nice & furnishings comfortable. Currently no beach access from the complex due to erosion but I know they have a renourishment project going on.

Nice property, great location.

We had a great stay. The only negative we experienced was the king bed downstairs had some springs broken in the right side and actually slanted down that direction when laid on. We would return next time we went to Wild Dunes with no hesitations if that were fixed. We had 3 kids that stayed in the queen beds upstairs and it was a perfect retreat for the 3 of them. You really can't beat the location. It is. 3 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to the pool, across the street from the tennis courts and close to the hotel for live music and restaurants. We enjoyed walking to the work out center in the grand pavilion as well. Smokey G's was a disappointment but Huey's was phenomenal! The tide comes all the way up in front of the condos so certain parts of the day there is no beach but you can walk over to the hotel and hang out on the beach on that side.
