"We left the beach and tourists for a bit of peace, quiet and relaxation. We got exactly what we were looking for and added an extra day to our stay. Secluded, secure property with a very large kitchen area. The private drive through the property is a little rocky, but drivable. We have a SUV and did just fine, but would think a lower to the ground car may have an issue. Approximately 10-12 miles to Auburn this would be a great game weekend retreat. We ran into town each down to eat and shop. We fished caught large mouth bass and huge blue gill. Catch and release only. The sunset view is amazing. The only issue we encountered was red ants. Not much you can do about those. If you live in the south you know it’s an up hill battle. They were in the grass areas here and there, so you had to keep an eye out if you were walking through the grass. Our host Emily was awesome! She communicated very well and responded to my emails almost immediately. We will definitely keep this property in our favorites for future bookings! "

"The spacious house has plenty of room to accommodate our large family. The house is situated on a beautiful well kept property. We enjoyed watching the bison and other animals. Fishing in the two ponds was a plus especially for the kids. The house was clean and had plenty of room for our family that came from SC for a wedding. We enjoyed the hammock (magic carpet), swing and space to allow the kids to roam. Communication and check in process was excellent. Highly recommend for a stay and if ever in Alabama again, will return. Amenities were close and Walmart delivers to the house which allowed us to get what we needed without going anywhere upon arrival after a long drive. A small grocery store is also about 7 minutes away. Thanks for the hospitality and letting us enjoy your property. "

"The property was fine. The location was extremely remote, with limited access to retail stores or eateries. The back roads were a little challenging to navigate at night. The manager and caretaker were great! The place was very clean and stocked with products to keep the space sanitized."

"A nice little lake house for our trip to Auburn for our son's graduation. Peaceful country setting with some exotic wildlife for us New Englanders (we spotted an armadillo!) - pack your binoculars for bird watching and some fishing gear. House was clean and neat and communication with the host was quick."

"This place is a real Gem!!! Our host, Elaine was absolutely AMAZING!!! She checked on us when we checked-in and was super responsive. She’s a treasure. The home was spotless! From the great social kitchen to the gigantic main bath shower, not a spec of dust anywhere. That is the biggest shower. It’s definitely made for more than one person. Lol. Hanging with everyone cooking dinner and socializing in the spacious open living room/kitchen combo made for a great evening. The theme is fun. Would absolutely recommend and hopefully stay there again. "
