Took my wife for our wedding anniversary. Hotel, room was clean and beautiful. The staff provided excellent service in every department. The only complaint is the hotel scheduled plumbing repairs the morning of my stay which I wasn’t aware of until I already paid for everything and made it to my hotel room. I found out not by staff, but with a letter on the desk in my room. It stated there will be no hot water after 8am and would last for up to six hours. Which cut our stay short. I had planned on ordering breakfast in bed and relaxing there until check out time. Unfortunately without hot water after 8am we had to set an alarm to wake up early to get a hot shower and we checked out of the hotel by 8am and had breakfast in town with no need to go back. I don’t know if it was our floor only “17th”. It would have been appreciated to be informed ahead of time or be put on a different floor so my wife and I could have enjoyed a full stay. Especially taking into consideration it’s the most expensive hotel in the city of Houston.
