We loved staying at the home due to the location, game room, fire area and kayaks. We had a couple minor issues and received more than one message asking us to send a message to the host within 24 hours to fix anything. We made a point to do that but didn’t hear back for over 24 hours and one of the issues (animal poop covering the deck) impacted our ability to use the kayaks. We also asked twice about paying the fee advertised for a late checkout but never received a response. Someone did come and wash the deck and fix the other items the last day of our stay. That made kayaking much more pleasant!I would also have preferred upgraded bedding but what we had was adequate. The master picture shows different bedding than what is on the bed. I wish I would have known how it actually looked and could have brought my own bedding. There were also several non perishable food items that some guests would enjoy. My preference is to have a cleaner kitchen without the opened food and added clutter. But that’s just a preference for others to be aware of!Overall if the beds were upgraded we would stay again!
