Staff was very friendly. Hotel was under construction (Feb 2026). Hot Tub was not functioning, only one jet was working. Great entertainment in the hotel lobby. As expected for an old hotel.

I hate to give a bad review because in the past we have loved staying here, but the room looked like it hadn’t been dusted in months. No stopper in the sink. Curtains broken. Mold and mildew in the shower. Bathroom floor was dirty. The breakfast that was offered was the same as the free one you get at Holiday Inn Express just presented fancy. Staff was friendly. Loved the bar staff. Won’t stay again. :(

Our room was very comfortable, once we got in. The "real" door keys are very difficult to use and all but one instance had to have a tech open it for us. The hotel lobby, dining room and lounge were freezing due to the singular heating system. Had to be less than 50 degrees or worse. Lunch was good Cream of mushroom soup was great. Chili was good too. Dinner on the other hand was not. Had short ribs and asked if it was spicy. Server insisted it wasn't. Came in a bowl and drowning in a spicy, chili type sauce. Asked for a plate and removed ribs and grits to drain. Broccolini was drenched and I couldn't eat it. Girlfriend is Gluten-free and ordered steak. Chef knew she was gluten-free and still poured steak sauce on top of her steak. Servers were scarce. Took 20-30 minutes to get water refilled. Server was apologetic but there were others flitting around and could have helped with shortage. I'm glad I experienced The Arlington once, but may not come back - at least not in the winter.

I understand they're undergoing restoration, but believe it should've been done decades ago. The room just felt way too dirty. Also no information about the area or tv guide in the room. The spa was not open on the 19th, although the woman who finally returned my call said it was supposed to be open all day. Desk clerk was not real helpful. I will never stay at the Arlington again!!!

The food and cocktails were good. The rooms have thin walls and you can hear upstairs neighbors using the bathroom when you're in the bathroom, due to thee design of the vents above the shower. The toilet looked like a prison toilet. Our shower head leaked and the tub wouldn't drain.

We accidentally pulled into the valet parking lot and one of the valets started screaming at us to get out of the lot and wanted us to back out into traffic. He told us the lot was full and to get out and park in the regular lot down the street. Once we were parked in the right place and had walked back to the hotel, the rest of the staff was great. We didn’t appreciate the rudeness of the valet.

We were given a room that had not been updated and then charged a resort fee. It was not very resort-y. The history and location is amazing though. Very convenient place to stay to visit Hot Springs.

Honestly, just DON’T… the Arlington has lived past its hey day and still holding on for dear life. First room paint peeling everywhere, dirt, rust, mold and mildew. Called to complain, offered me an “upgrade” to a suite. Gave me the same kind of room in the same situation. TERRIBLE.. TERRIBLE.. TERRIBLE. Did I mention how terrible it is?!?!?
Mildew on hvac and its just blowin it all over the room

Hotel is beautiful in the public areas. Staff was wonderful. Night entertainment was great. When we first got there our room was awful. Stained carpet, ratty furniture not overly clean. But when front desk was called they found us a better room. So this was good. The new rom was way better but you could see if my was basically worn out. But it was clean so we said great. Once they get all the renovations done it will back to it beautiful standards.

Still can’t comprehend how the bartender treated me like some homeless guy off the street. And to top it off, the manager doubled down and didn’t offer any reduced rate as good will after I had Expedia talk with them. This property seems to be run by some very suspicious people and I’m glad I got to see their true colors. Won’t be back again? There’s other way cleaner hotels in town anyway. Room was disgusting, stained carpet and torn up walls. Embarrassing truly.

It’s a great nostalgic and beautiful hotel. Service is wonderful. Beds are comfortable. My only issue was the carpet is really dirty and walls are paper thin. We could hear a couple arguing in the next room around midnight.
