Staff was helpful, comfortable bed, really good music in the lobby at night, and we enjoyed a mineral bath in the bath house. Keep in mind it is a very old hotel and there is lots of upkeep. Wasn’t as clean as we usually like it, there was wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls and very worn chairs in the lobby and room.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Room was pedestrian but had a great view! The one unpleasant surprise was the $30 parking fee inside their garage but to be fair, parking has gone up to $15 all over downtown for a 4 hour time so I guess it all evened out. The bed wasn't comfortable so I do have to mention that. But the hotel is neat, we wandered around and saw everything.

Rooms were dated / old. Problems with elevators. No parking at the Hotel other than valet with a $30 daily charge. Valet is not staffed to support weekend volume. There is paid parking a block away. Hotel charges $18 daily resort fee which is not clearly identified on Expedia. Expedia shows fees / taxes on receipt but it is not for the resort fees. A two day stay ads $50 daily / $100 for the two night stay. Staff is pleasant.

We stayed on the 6th floor ( pets friendly room) The carpet is terrible. When my husband moved the chair we found an underwear behind it. I never stayed a hotel like this.

The hotel is being renovated so it’s a little “meh”. It’s very old and historic so don’t expect modern. The staff is wonderful. I know it would be hard to control given the age and shape of the building but just know roaches are an issue. When I went to the restroom at night and turned on the lights, roaches ran everywhere. I told the staff and they did wave one night resort fee. Just be aware you are paying to stay in a historic building during renovations.
