Was a good package type destination with coaches coming in from the airport. Nothing wrong with that but we had been staying in less busy Sri Lankan hotels prior to coming. No complaints but not really us.

Booked a non refundable room and due to the gulf conflict our flight was cancelled prior to travelling 4hrs to the hotel. The hotel refused to refund as a gesture of goodwill. When you are desperate you would think there is still kindness in the world. Very disappointed.

We arrived and they was ASKING ME how many nights I'm staying I said 4 then the next few days kept asking when I'm checking out. The restaurant is OK nothing special we ordered breakfast once and they didn't have what we wanted so didn't go back. Do not stay more than 1 night as they don't clean the rooms either. "
