Wonderful Condo & Perfect Location

Great place to stay for a holiday weekend in Helen, GA. Main Street is right outside the condo. The Bakery across the street has wonderful pastries, Betty’s General Store has gifts and all your food needs, and the German town is decorated and festive!

Great stay!

This is year 10 for us coming to Helen for Oktoberfest and this is by far our favorite place. The unit is awesome, location is perfect and the owner maintains great communication. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Girls Trip!

My sister & I and our daughters stayed at the Sleeping Bear condo for a girls trip. It was perfect - plenty of space for us to hang out and catch up, four nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, and so close to town! We walked everywhere we wanted to go. John was a great host.

Weekend trip with my kids

Communication with the owner or property manager was great. When we got there the downstairs and main floor AC was out but they had it up and going within a hour. Someone came by to repair the hot tub which I did not know was not operating properly. They came while we were at dinner or while I was asleep. It scared me because it was not like that when we got there. The ice maker was also not working. But others than that we had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

Great place for family

Amazing location - cannot stress that enough. You literally will not need to drive once you arrive unless you are going outside of Helen. One of our travel members had recently had surgery and the downstairs area was absolutely perfect as stairs were challenging - it has a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, screened in porch (with hot tub). The wraparound porch on the 2nd floor is to die for. Highly recommend!

Great Location

The condo was perfect for our party of three adults and four children. The condo was clean inside and the beds were very comfortable. The outside balconies are wonderful. Could use some pressure washing but no big deal. Easy walking with young children to downtown. We will definitely stay here again.

Decorated for Christmas

House was decorated for Christmas with a tree which was lovely. Location is close enough to walk around downtown Helen and hear the live music from the bar and grill the next block over when sitting on the deck but not so close that we heard the music inside. Also at a good location to drive in and leave without having to drive down main street. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates (some also Christmas themed) and silverware. We were given 2 dish washer pods and 2 trash bags for a 4 night stay which ment we had to go shopping not an issue we are just used to getting 1/ night. We also only had 1 towel and washing rag per person, which meant we had to wash towels if we wanted to use the hot tub so we opted out of using that. We could have done laundry since they had a washer and dryer hook up and opted not to. Wifi is free but has low bandwidth. If we had known I could have brought our hotspot. Kids loved the Hollywood and Sports themed rooms upstairs. Owner was responsive by text and phone when VRBO forgot to send the check-in information by email.

Exceeded Expectations

We hit the jackpot when we found this rental. The location was a major reason we chose this rental. We never had to use our cars once we arrived. We had a 3 year old so we were able to push her around in a stroller which made things so much easier. The condo was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. The condo was clean was very clean and we were very happy with our choice. This will be our go-to rental when we come back to Helen. Thanks again.. Ken

Small things make a stay better

It was a great location and the right size for our group. It would have been helpful to have extra TP when most bathrooms were starting off with 1/4 of a roll. There were no extra kitchen garbage bags. Also electrical plates were missing in the bathroom on the main floor, and simple towel rods were broken in a couple bathrooms. Main floor lamps had burned out or missing bulbs. Little things are important especially for convenience sake.

Great time in Helen!

Great location! Only things that weren’t great was they left no extra garbage bags, few towels, and water pressure in all showers was nonexistent. But very spacious and great outdoor seating.

Wonderful

Easy booking & check in procedure. Extremely convenient location, right on the main street. This is our third trip to beautiful Helen GA and this huge house was by far the easiest to get to... absolutely no steep hills to get to this house👍Nice parking as well. We throughly enjoyed our stay, only wish it was longer than three days. House is definitely described 100% as is on VRBO....Well done and many THANKS. Much appreciation, The Alonso Family

Great Location!

This 3 level townhouse is in the perfect location for Helen, Georgia. We parked our car and did not move it until we left-you can walk everywhere! The property was clean with a great floorplan. There are steps throughout the unit...not a problem for our group but may be for yours. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed for a quick meal. There were 2 kinds of coffee makers- k-cup and drip. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again if allowed.
