Exceeded Expectations

The house was absolutely perfect for our golf trip; extremely spacious, well thought out and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for parking, plenty of space for golf clubs, plenty of space for seating (living room and patio), two refrigerators, plenty of towels. The hosting company was extremely communicative and even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back and can't wait for the new additions (especially the putting green!).

Very spacious house, beautiful property

This was probably the first VRBO that actually looked even better than the pictures when we first walked in. The house is very spacious and the property is beautiful and private with amazing views all around. Lots of fun activities to do and great hang out spaces. The only thing that I would say was less appealing than other places we’ve stayed is the check out time being at 10am and a 40 fee being charged if you request a late checkout and it’s available. That is earlier than most hotels and a fee for a late checkout is something I have not encountered before, it wasn’t unmanageable and not something I would deduct any stars over since everything else met or exceeded expectations. Overall very pleased with our experience.

Two weekends in a row:)

We came to GJ for kids hockey and volleyball. We had the best time and wish we could go back for a third weekend in a row but no hockey or volleyball this weekend. Highly recommend this property. It is amazing on ALL levels.

So Much Fun!

I can't say enough how much fun our family of 6 had during our 8-night Christmas stay! The Bookcliff Barnhouse was so much larger and nicer than we imagined (the pictures don't do it justice), and we spent endless hours playing ping pong, darts, and other games. The separation of bedrooms upstairs and the main living area, kithen area, and games downstairs was perfect. We'd love to return for another stay in the future if the opportunity presents.

Barnhouse Retreat

The house is just as it is advertised. The bottom floor is open, clean and equipped with ping pong, exercise equipment and a dartboard. There is a large sectional sofa, two sofa beds and the TV has Netflix. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. There is a laundry room downstairs. The stairs going to the second floor are a bit steep for a person who uses a cane but perfectly manageable for any others. There are 3 beautifully decorated bathrooms in the house. The hot tub was clean and so was the gas grill. The outdoors had frisbee golf, horseshoe pits and a fire pit. Lovely home, serene surroundings - very nice. Our group of ladies enjoyed it very much.

Amazing views from huge, wonderful appointed barnhouse

We were in Grand Junction for a bicycling and fully enjoyed the barnhouse. Gorgeous views of the CO Monument and the canal is magical. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and see the stars at night. LOTS of room at the house.

Great place for a group or family

The farm house was spacious and full of amenities. The views at dawn and dusk were awesome!! The patio was where we spent are nights. The grill worked great and ping pong was a big hit with the group. The host stayed in contact and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great Getaway

Loved our stay here. We were in town for a youth softball tournament and the house made a great relaxing retreat in between games and the evenings. We brought our two dogs who loved the property as well!

Fun Stay in Grand Junction!

We really enjoyed this property! We loved the indoor and outdoor activities, the fun space, and the sweet cows grazing along the canal road in the morning! Responsive host, very convenient to the area and airport, would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Golf trip

Was an excellent house for our guys golf trip base camp. Was close enough to town but far enough for peace and quiet. We enjoyed dinners at night at the house watching sports and enjoying the amenities. The fire pit, ping pong table and darts were used regularly. Great place and well designed.

Everything from the layout to the bedrooms and bathrooms were so beautiful, it made you feel comfortable and home. Very very well done. Thank you for sharing this home with guests. My 2 sons and daughter and law and i had a great time playing games and ping pong.

Grand Junction Annual Dirt Bike Trip

This place is amazing, can’t be happier with it! We have been doing a friends dirt bike trip for over 15 years out there and been bouncing from house to house as our group gets larger. This place accommodated 8 male friends that love to ride the BLM. Great hosts this place will not disappoint, coming back next year definitely

Exactly what we wanted

This home was great for our mountain biking trip to the Fruita/GJ area. The recent renovation was very well done and the inside of the home is new construction and very very clean, along with new and very clean furniture, bedding, etc. Overall, a very well put together and thought out vacation rental.

Perfect Accommodations! Barntastic!!

We Loved everything about our stay! Every detail and accommodation was thought of and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The open concept was fantastic for our time together and we loved how at home we felt. Sleeping arrangements were so cute and cozy, even the three twin beds just off of the kitchen. So comfy!! We will definitely be back for another visit!!
