"The best part of the stay was the view, which is possibly the best from any location to the east of the reservoir. Otherwise, do not expect much in the way of frills. The cabin was clean. The bed was not really comfortable and felt more like a sofa bed. The fireplace (with poorly-designed chimney) does not adequately exhaust smoke from the cabin. My guess is that it would only work for a one- or (maybe) a two-log fire...anything more overwhelms its capacity for exhausting smoke. The stay was worth the price paid, because of the exceptional view."

He’s an outstanding host—fully fluent in English and German, incredibly well-travelled, and deeply passionate about Colombia and his home city. His affinity for healthy living, yoga, mindful eating, and life coaching made our conversations all the more meaningful and enriching. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that he offers private tours of Bogotá and the surrounding areas, which I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a more personal, in-depth experience of the region. Whether you're a visitor or a local looking for a quiet retreat, I recommend this property without any hesitation."
