Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
First, I paid $53 per night so my expectations were not high to begin with. I was looking for a clean & comfortable room and relative quiet. Both of these expectations were met. Comfortable and clean room and had no issues with noise.
Second, there was a small continental breakfast that consisted of cold cereal, toast, fruit, coffee and juice. Not much else. If that satisfies you, then you won’t have an issue. I chose to have breakfast elsewhere.
Third, not quite sure but it appears that there are several long term tenants living in the facility. For my six days stay, I met a handful of men who daily sat out front hanging out on a bench. I talked with one man who said he “stays here “. I had no issues with this, it’s just not something you expect at a hotel.
Fourth, while I wouldn’t call the property dirty, there was a pile of trash outside my window for 5/6 days of my stay. It’s not the newest or most shiny property, but again, for the price expectations were not high
I will stay here again for the price and the proximity to my interests in Bloomington.
Checking in and out was quick and easy. I didn’t interact with staff but they appeared helpful to others.
