This was perfect for our family girls’ trip! The location is just the best and easily walkable to all the shops and spots on Main Street. Very clean and beds were comfy. Everything came as it was pictured and communication with host was top notch!

We’re a group of college friends who take a trip together every now and then and this year Fredericksburg was our destination. We loved it! Loved our stay in this spacious, charming house and enjoyed shopping, eating and visiting a beautiful winery. We love Fredericksburg!

Lovely stay at the Hummingbird House!

A lovely stay at the Hummingbird house! Location is awesome and easy walk to Main Street. Enjoyed the history of the home and the sitting area outside. Home is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The host is wonderful as well - highly recommend!

Girls trip

Loved the house…..very clean, quiet. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Felt safe. Only problem was the top floor was warm. 88 degrees one day we were there…don’t know if a/c was not adjusted correctly, or what…instructions on how to use it, and the fan would have been appreciated.

Birthday getaway

Planned my husband’s 50th. Host was easy to work with and I was able to arrange for cake and balloons to be waiting. House was charming and perfect for quick getaway. We rented the cottage as well and it was beautiful. Great centralized location!

Great for large groups!

All I can say is, fabulous! We stayed at Hummingbird Haus for a friend’s bachelorette weekend. There was 10 of us total and we had plenty of room. One quick stop by HEB and the house had everything else. The location is ideal and a quick walk to main street for the shops. 10/10 recommend, especially for larger groups.

Perfect Girls Weekend!!

We stayed here for my younger sister’s bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! We loved the history and charm of the house, the beds were comfy, and the location was unbeatable. We were able to walk everywhere! Highly recommend if you’re taking a big group to Fredericksburg!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We went to Fredericksburg for a friend's surprise engagement. We stayed at Hummingbird and we could not be more pleased. The house was exactly as described and the location could not be better. The rooms were very comfortable and a great time was had by all.

We had a wonderful time at this property! The authentic feel, location and comfort of the home surpassed my expectations. The property is so inviting, immaculately clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Melissa was an amazing and thoughtful hostess from the beginning. We extended our stay and she also had a second property full of charm available for us as well. I highly recommend her for any stay in the Fredericksburg area. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Place!

This was a great house for 11 ladies on our girls’ trip! The house was clean, perfect location, and charming! We walked everywhere and enjoyed all that Fredericksburg had to offer. It had good air conditioning, plenty of towels, and all the amenities that you would need. I would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again!

Cousins weekend

Wonderful house and bungalow, only issue was the flapper on the downstairs toilet, but we took j to consideration that it’s an old house. Would have liked to have known there was not a full size refrigerator in the bungalow. Otherwise Everything was wonderful.

Family Get Away

This is a beautiful house that was a great surprise to our short visit in Fredericksburg. We loved the history of the building and the large dining room table to sit down and catch up at late into the night. Such a great location and such a close walk to downtown.
