The room was clean and the staff was nice. However, the room had a super strong fragrance when we first got there that set off my asthma. Also, the door did not seal and day light could be seen on the side of the door. Also, we were awakened very early both days by what we think were kids running in the room above us.

Friendly staff, nice room, great price and easy walking distance to the Fredericksburg sites, shops and restaurants. Would give it 5 stars but the beds and box springs need replaced.

The young lady at the front desk was very kind and hospitable. Our room was very clean and cold, shower was hot, and the black out curtains made for a good sleep. Only downfall was the bed was VERY soft, but were used to a firm mattress. Breakfast was also good and there was a nice selection. We would stay again for sure!

Room was smelly. When house keeping came to fresh up room after first day she took the dirty towels and placed clean ones there. Didn’t change sheets, didn’t dust , didn’t do anything. She brought in a caddy with cleaning supplies but didn’t use any of it. I found clothes from the people or person that stayed there before as I was picking up my socks. Like they never cleaned the room before they gave me the keys. There was a pillow that smelled like dog scent. I will never again rent a room at Sunday House hotel. They also put us, an elderly couple upstairs when the first floor was nearly empty.

The Room was great! Clean and no funky odors that some older inns have. This is a well-maintained Inn, with great staff, and in a great location. We parked the SUV and never got back into it until we were checking out. We walked all over Fredericksburg. It was a great trip! We will stay here again.
