I highly recommend a stay at this historic property in Marvão. It has an old world charm and the amenities are excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, brightly lit, the breakfast superb and the view from the dining room is amazing. The staff were friendly and most helpful.

Fortios Hotel & Travel Guide

For those that are trekking about in Portalegre and are planning on staying in Fortios, there are a small number of hotels, apartments and other accommodation options. The city center and surrounds of Fortios offers 3 excellent lodgings within easy driving distance.
