The staff were very friendly. In fact, as a senior citizen and a recent knee replacement, I felt hobbled in the morning., and when the young clerk saw me as we were leaving, he came and offered his arm, walking me to our car. (my husband was handling our luggage.) Our rooms were large and very clean, with a television in the bedroom as well as in the sitting room. The only thing I didn't like was the cement floors with area rugs, simply because as a senior citizen, cement floors are hard on my old joints.

Everyone was was nice, especially the man who bandaged my husband's arm after falling in the shower. Please beware when you first walk into the shower by the door, and there are no grab bars. The room was nice and larger than any we have stayed in. Overall, it was a good room except for my husbands fall. I suggest you at least put in grab bars.

The cleanliness needed some work. Vent in bathroom, around the toilet and grout were dirty Under the bed and along the wall was dirty Walls are very thin and it was a little noisy for my liking. I was there alone and wished there was an extra lock on the door also

This place is phenomenal for the price. I’ve stayed in 200+ hotels all over the U.S. (Large majority in the Midwest) and for the price point, I haven’t found a better hotel. Exceptionally clean, easy parking, easy in and out, solid staff. The first floor is a ginormous liquor store with good prices and good selection, which doubles as a convenience store with everything you need. There’s an interior smoke shop, a pool table, ready to eat food, arcade machines, a lottery machine, and all kinds of other novelty purchases at a solid price. Very satisfied with the property conditions and amenities for the price. Will stay here every time I’m even close to the area.

Let's point out several things. First, the property is basically in a truck fueling facility. This is not an independently unattached motel. Second, the rooms are especially large. Third, the floor in the rooms are concrete and thus the sound travels more fluidly. Lastly, the walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations next door, if you happen to have people next door. The price is very appealing. There you have it. A study in contrasts.
