Room was very clean and updated. Pool and hot tub were also very clean and usable. Location was great for walking to the restaurants and the beach. The only negative for us was that the mattresses were very firm which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Room had a stench akin to sewer gas. The refrigerator leaked water all over the floor. There were loud workers yelling in Spanish at 6AM just outside the back window. The keys were electronic wrist bands which were nothing but trouble. This place needs to be shut down pending a health inspection. It was disgusting. Front desk was well mannered at least.

Check-in was easy peasy. The hotel clerk was super polite and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I chose Matanzas Inn based on a previous stay and you can't beat the bang for your buck and convenient location. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
