The room was functional, we had a balcony, ac that worked very good though not needed too much, the louvered windows allowed a perfect evening breeze. The hot water was not so much there did we just turn it the wrong way? The street though the main street quieted right down at night and we slept very peacefully once I figured to double the pillow over.lol They do leave something to be desired. If you need big pillows bring your own. enjoyed the wide hallways and the airflow. Internet was good when it was good on the island. The location is perfect for restaurants, a little store next door, tuk tuk always available. The room was comfortable and serviceable. the colors are a bit loud. but still the place was good. The people are very very nice.. be sure to visit Cool Beans Resturant.

When I booked, it stated AC in room. indeed there was one unit but host stated that my rate did not include so I checked my reservation which stated that AC was in bedroom Inrented but it did not say that I could not turn on To me this is misguiding I’m not used to be fooled and si got unhappy about the situation even though host told me that si was not the first customer claiming this problem

Was advertised as having air conditioning it did not have AC. Then staff was very unhelpful when i was trying to explain the link i booked on has listed AC. He wanted to charge me an extra 250Q per night for AC but didnt have any AC rooms. Then i was told i can not leave the hotel after 11pm. Not that i wanted to but he felt the need to make that very clear to me makimg me feel that i was locked in. I ended up paying for these nights and going and renting a room else where. He did not seem helpful when asking for refund.

This place is excellent for the price -- it was the cheapest single room on the island and cheaper than some dorm beds -- but you get what you pay for. The shower didn't warm up for five minutes, at which point I gave up. The bathroom was full of mold. But the staff were pleasant and the location was perfect.

I had to get up early for a tour group and the shower was not working. They must have known this and said nothing at all. I got to use a shower downstairs that was in horrible condition but at least water came down.

It’s an unbelievable bargain for the area. It’s just a very tired property. Really needs some updating. It was really good for my purposes. I wasn’t in the room for more than showers and sleeping. They had really good water pressure with really hot water.

The location it's good but that's it. It need a lot of improvement. They charge $12 per day fir the AC but if you have to pay that, then you price will increase to an average of $35 per day. In that sense, I'll pay a better place. Bottom line: look somewhere else!

Very good hotel in Flores

Located on the second line on the peninsula, easy to find. Inside the peninsula, everything is within walking distance. To the bus station about 20 minutes on foot. Nearby you can find where to eat and buy food at normal prices. Nice people - staff. Narrow and uncomfortable stairs. The room is beautiful, clean and bright. Quite comfortable bed (can be tougher), pillows. The window is on into the inner corridor, but there is no external wall near the corridor. Poor sound insulation. Fan. Quite normal bed linen. Two towels. The bathroom has hot water from the tap. There is soap and shampoo. In my opinion, the price of 90 quetzales per night is adequate.
