Histórico apartamento tipo loft arquitectónico

El apartamento, ubicado en la planta principal de un antiguo palacio noble en el centro de Florencia, a 7 minutos a pie del Duomo y el Ponte Vecchio, a 1 minuto de via Tornabuoni, donde se encuentran las mejores boutiques de alta costura, cerca de las principales atracciones. Artístico, las mejores tiendas y restaurantes de la ciudad. Tiene capacidad para cuatro personas y se distribuye en dos niveles: el primero consta de una sala de estar con sofá cama doble, baño con ducha y cocina abierta totalmente equipada. Esta área está iluminada por dos suntuosas ventanas que le dan un toque de singularidad al apartamento. El segundo nivel alberga una habitación doble con cama king size cuyas paredes están totalmente pintadas al fresco y coronadas por un artesonado de madera finamente decorado. Con mucho, el apartamento más romántico, ideal para parejas. El ambiente idílico de este apartamento culmina en el área de descanso gracias a la delicadeza de las sombras de las paredes pintadas al fresco y los techos de madera pintados que representan escudos de armas, elementos arquitectónicos y querubines.

Excellent communication from the hosts. Wonderful stay and close to everything!We had a memorable trip and were very comfortable at the loft. Only recommendation is for some directions for use of washer dryer ( for foreigners

Great spot!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is an adorable space. So charming and quaint, and located close to sites, restaurants, and stores. Very comfortable and spacious - the mattress was heavenly. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked well outfitted. The stairs, which are described in the listing, would not be ideal for older folks, especially the historical flight of stairs in the unit. Street noise can be a little boisterous at night, but closing the shutters and wearing ear plugs did the trick. There is a little bustle here but we’d stay again - it’s worth it for the charming space and great location.

Lovely little space in the center of it all.

The loft was very convenient to all the sites of interest, very clean, and quite comfortable. Be aware of two things, not the “fault” of the rental: there are some stairs to climb, and the downside of it being central is that it’s loud. It took us a night to realize that we’d need earplugs. That’s just the price of being in a crowded tourist area and staying in a historic building. The apartment has the basic necessities, but it’s not a “full” apartment. You can’t cook a meal, but you can make coffee and wash your clothes— use the towel warmer to dry them faster. It was roomy, clean, and perfect for our needs.

Amazing Florence Apartment

Gaia and Pietro’s apartment is beautiful. Exactly as advertised, all amenities you need for your stay, perfect central location. Communication and check in was very smooth.

Good for some, not for us.

There were unfortunate situations that impeded our stay. The check-in process was, unfortunately, very confusing, and after a nine hour flight and two hour train ride, hard to deal with. Again, unfortunately, when we got there, there was no running water (due to some work being done on the building, we were told), and the flights of stairs to the property and stairs to the master bedroom were, for all intents and purposes, very hard for us to maneuver. We would never have been able to negotiate those stairways numerous times each day. All in all, an unfortunate start to our stay in Italy. We decided not to stay at the property, and, to date, no consideration was given to any sort of partial refund for our inconvenience and disappointment in the property. We ended up at a four-star grand hotel (thank goodness they had a room) and this is what we will do for future stays. No more VRBO for us.

Great Florence Apartment!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was just a few minutes away from all the sites, but on a quiet street. We walked from the train station to the apartment and had quick access. We arrived before noon and was able to drop off all our bags and get the keys while they finished cleaning the space. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and tidy. The huge bed was super comfy with brand new sheets. The small kitchen had everything we needed for our small meal prep. The living room and dining area were also great to sit and unwind after our full days in the wonderful city and countrysides! Amazing restaurants very close (recommend iL Lantini just around the corner! Amazing everything. Try the house wine!) The apartment is on the 2nd floor with stair access only which was no problem for us. I was captivated by the ceiling and wall frescos the entire time we stayed there. It was a great find and we were happy to call this place home with in Florence! Gaia was our host and was super helpful during our stay. Thank you Gaia. We look forward to the next time!

The apt was delightful. Centrally located in the old city and all sights on both side of the Arno river within easy walking distance. Stefano and the other staff at WP near by were gracious and helpful in locating local services. It made our stay in Florence especially enjoyable.

Charming apartment

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic location. The apartment is cozy and well stocked for a great stay. We had a wonderful stay. Our only suggestion would be to label the keys and to be more clear on checking in for people who arrive later in the evening.

Beautiful, comfortable, super safe, well equipped apartment in a great location!

We loved our stay at Palazzo Strozzi! It's beautiful, comfortable & a few minutes walk to all of the sites in Florence. There's great shopping, restaurants & a farmacia on the street and a great little grocery only a block away! Gaia was a fantastic hostess. Very prompt with communication & super helpful too. She called us a cab for the airport & it went super smoothly. We would highly recommend staying here & will stay here again when we come back to beautiful Firenze. Grazie Gaia!

Unfortunately, my travel plans changed (twice) during the period when I had hoped to stay at this beautiful apartment. Pietro was very understanding and helpful, including when I ultimately had to cancel my reservation after my trip was cancelled. I hope to have the opportunity to visit Florence in the future and to stay in this apartment then.

Beautiful apartment - great location

We stayed here for 6 days and loved it! It's location is fantastic - about 5-10 minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment is cozy, comfortable and charming. We enjoyed relaxing here in the mornings and in the afternoons/evenings after a day of sightseeing. The building has a tiny elevator, which we mostly did not use, as the unit is an easy walk up 20+ stairs. With the windows open (which we enjoyed), there is a little street noise during the day, but with the very well crafted large windows, this did not create a problem at all and there was very little noise at night - so nothing to disturb our sleep. The apartment also has a great restaurant in the building just downstairs, as well as lots of great shopping and dining nearby. One of our favorites for coffee and breakfast was the Cafe Amerini, which is an outstanding little cafe and bakery just 100 feet down the street. There is also a bus stop right in front of the building, though we found walking or going by cab easiest. We would not hesitate recommending this apartment to friends and we can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Amazing stay in Florence!

We had a wonderful stay in Florence. The apartment was amazing, beautifully adorned with frescoes and it was immaculately clean. It is centrally located in Florence and within a 10 minute walk of all the major sights. It was an easy 10 minute walk with our luggage from the train station. There are numerous shops and restaurants in the area. Gaia provided us with an extensive list of shops/restaurants/grocery stores/points of interest before check-in so we were well prepared for our time in Florence. We hope to be back one day and will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our 10 day visit

My wife and I were visiting for 10 days in January and were very happy with this apartment. Gaia was always quick to reply on WhatsApp with our random questions. The space is very charming, exactly like it is pictured in these photos - and the ceiling seems even higher in person. Like all of Italy, it has some narrow spots, so if you're a really tall guy who cannot suffer any stooping or torquing then you better find a 4+ star hotel! But as a big/tall guy I still found those compromises worthwhile for all the other benefits. As others have said, the location is great, you are just a few blocks from the all the big sights. The restaurant immediately below is fantastic, as is the cafe a few doors down - we went there practically every morning. Being close to the river was great, to easily walk to Oltrarno, which is a must. Would definitely rent this unit again!

Lovely apartment very convenient

The apartment has everything you need although we only made coffee in the morning. The bed is in a lift up some steep stairs and the bathroom is on main floor. Lots of nice restaurants one literally next door.

Great apartment; great location

Very nice apartment that is in a quiet area but any easy walk to all museums and attractions. Having a loft bedroom leaves plenty of living space, so you can relax comfortably after a hard day of touring. Well maintained, and in a lovely quiet neighborhood. We loved it!!!

Perfect apartment...perfect location

We stayed for 4 days in this lovely apartment - firm and comfortable bed, very clean, kitchen with all the basic appliances to prepare coffee, breakfast and/or a light meal. Fast internet - excellent air conditioner - lots of space. The location is perfect, the owners/staff helpful - miss it already...we will be back!
