My husband and I recently traveled to Florence and had the pleasure of staying at San Giuliano Inn for four nights. Our experience started with a warm greeting by Christiann who assisted with taking our luggage up the elevator and into our room. We were then greeted by Sheren. A lovely woman who showed us our room and all its amenities and then took us on a tour of the rest of the accomodations. The room was immaculate; beautiful and spacious; our view was breathtaking; the bed and linens were luxurious and comfortable. The location was perfection, with everything within a few minutes walking distance. Each morning Sheren asked us how our stay was and if we needed anything. Christiann was gracious enough to make us cappucinos. The service was friendly, accomodating, warm and welcoming. My husband accidentally dropped his phone down the elevator shaft. It was late in the afternoon on Saturday and we were panicked. The staff and after hours service went above and beyond to dispatch an elevator technician and retrieve my husbands phone. I cannot say enough about our stay. My rating would be higher than five stars if it were an option. Gratzie!

This property has thought of everything! Our only disappointment was that we were only there for one night. From the bathroom amenities, to the well stocked, common kitchen, we wanted for nothing. The beds were comfy, the shower a dream. I'll never stay anywhere else when in Florence and that's saying something.

We loved our stay until the last night. We were only staying 3 nights so we didn’t require maid service. We arrived back at the hotel after looking for a laundry facility. The host met us at the door. She was quite upset. She wanted us to unlock our door. We did and she went to our made bed and pulled down the sheets and scolded us for using the top sheet. I told her we use top sheets in the US. She said we would have to have our room redone. We allowed it. I haven’t been talked to like that in years. Didn’t sleep well as we were trying to process what had happened. It was obvious she entered our room (even with the do not disturb sign) without our permission while we were gone. Unacceptable!!

Luana was so friendly & wanted our stay to be as comfortable as possible. She would offer to make cappuccinos, get croissants in the morning. She was very welcoming & nice. If we saw her throughout the day, she would ask if we needed anything. She called & ordered us a taxi when we left to take us to our car rental. Our room was very clean & comfortable. The location could not have been better! Very close to shopping, the Duomo etc. It was an excellent place for us to stay.

Great hotel in a great location. The rooms are very comfortable with nice bathrooms, closet and amenities. There is a common room that is very comfortable and a kitchen area with coffee, other drinks and pastries. The staff is fantastic. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.
