Welcome to the Kingfisher cabin. We hope you enjoy your stay! This brightly furnished cabin is a great place to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. The open spaces and our grove of Post Oaks are the perfect place to take a walk, or sit out on your porch and reconnect with nature.
The Space:
Kingfisher Cabin
The kingfisher bird gets its name from its exceptional skill at fishing. You often spot these birds near clear water areas of streams, rivers, ponds, reservoirs, estuaries, and sea coasts. Their presence usually indicates good water quality (and who does not prefer fresh fish).
Speaking of good quality, the Kingfisher cabin accommodates two guests in style. The cabin is disabled accessible. It provides ground-level entry with no steps or stairs, wide doorways, step-in shower, extra high toilet and limited under-counter cabinets. The HVAC unit is wall mounted, allowing complete operation from a convenient low height. A king-size bed permits ample room to stretch out and comfy seating is adjacent to the bed. The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room.
The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.
Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the cabin. Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content to the TV. A full list of amenities is below.
Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few.
We invite you to vacation a while in the Kingfisher cabin. (And you may want to bring along a fishing pole in case the pond at Waco Creekside beckons!)

Other Things to Note:
The structural supports for the treehouse cabins are intensely strong yet flexible. The flexibility allows slight movement of the cabin within the tree canopy if the canopy itself shifts sufficiently. You might feel a gentle rhythm from nature—but rest assured that the treehouse cabins, although elevated, are firmly anchored to the ground.
