Great location. Right next to the train station and amazing views of the city from the lounge. Great place to stay in Edinburgh. Our Room had A/C which was really needed in August. Only negative is that the room was extremely small. I had to walk sideways to get around the bed. I’m a small person so it didn’t bother me that much, but for my husband it was a little cramped.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. We arrived by train and were so happy to see our hotel immediately. Bed was very comfortable. Room was a touch small with very little storage but otherwise perfect.

Great Location!

Great location, right across the street from the train station. Nice attention to little details, including slippers, arrival with champagne, free mini bar/snacks is nice change from other hotels. Only issue was the handicap shower, my mistake picking that room and they wanted to charge more to change it. Never had issue before but this set up got the entire bathroom and all your belongings wet, not ideal.

I cannot recommend this property enough. I came up for the fringe festival from Canada and my airbnb didn’t have a key to let us in at 8pm, tired, jet lagged and needing a bed. I called market street hotel and they were so incredibly helpful in finding us a room there. The staff was outstanding, the hotel is SHOCKINGLY quiet, everything is so clean and was an incredible experience. Beautiful terrace overlooking princess street, a mini bar where everything is free and thoughtfully Scottish specific (Edinburgh gin drinks, inns and Gunn and little Scottish treats). The individual at the front desk even took me to different rooms so I was able to see the differences of what they were. Loved our stay and recommend to anyone.

The location is unbeatable, the staff are very kind and helpful, the rooms are stylish and well maintained, and the snacks and drinks in the room were very much appreciated. The small candles when we didn’t get housekeeping were an unexpected surprise too.
