"' Deluxe' double room was very small not big enough to have a chair in it, hardly room for one open case let alone two, one bedside lamp didn't have a bulb in it, duvet and pillows were very heavy and lumpy - we had to remove the winter duvet and use just the cover. "This very interesting historic hotel with lots of historic displays for our viewing was of great interest, the staff friendly, helpful always with a smile, table service in the bar was excellent , breakfast well you name it ,it was on offer we had excellent quality traditional English breakfast, may I add the whole hotel spotlessly clean the room was excellent a good view of the cathedral and the beds really comfortable we slept well, I will be going there monthly if the price is right by discount available periodicly."
