"Nice clean hotel, unfortunately we had too many stairs to climb, we are both pensioners, not the hotel's fault we should have checked. TV was poor can't understand how they had SKY downstairs but not upstairs. The breakfast lounge and the food on offer was 5*"

"Great price and room for the weekend. Only 3 dedicated parking spaces out front and if they're taken you have to move your vehicle every 2 hours around the square because of parking restrictions. Stairs and passages are tidy but could do with an update. Overall happy with the establishment."

"Quiet location but only 20 mins to Berwick upon Tweed with Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick within easy reach.
Bedroom was huge with a comfy bed.
Staff were pleasant.
Good choice for breakfast and their evening meals were excellent. Restaurant gets very busy so its advisable to book a table.
